Hi and my current use cases
Howdy y'all! I've been using Claude as a coach for a little over a year now and really enjoying it (have used it for a couple of 50K's and a 50 miler). I also work as an ML Engineer professionally and use Claude Code, Codex, etc. in that capacity quite a bit. (1) On coaching -- I have been creating a project for each training block. If training for a specific race, I'll upload a description of the course, any race reports I can find, and any info the RD posts. I do also upload notes from a training book (e.g. Koop's book). Then chat with Opus to create a plan. Each week, I start a new thread for the week ahead and upload FIT files so it can analyze how well I'm hitting the workouts. At the end of the week, I generate a summary of the week and save that back to project knowledge. If I ever need to make major adjustments, I spin up a new Opus thread. I did try using Fable for this today but actually didn't notice significant quality increase; perhaps Opus is smart enough :) (2) Another relevant tool I've built: I have a script to download and transcribe every episode of a few training podcasts. I also have a small RAG application on top of these that I can use to search for relevant episodes if I have a specific training question. This was more of a curiosity; you could get the RAG part for free by letting Claude Code loose in a directory of transcripts. But I did find this super helpful when I was figuring out iron deficiency! Lots of good info in a few podcasts that made it helpful to get a good protocol set up for myself. Curious to learn more what folks have been doing that's made a difference for their training. See y'all around!
Intro - pumped to be here / learn from everyone
Hey everyone! Wanted to write a quick intro and say I’m beyond pumped to be here and learn from everyone! Big advocate of community and bringing people together around a shared interest. My name is Tyler and am the founder of one of the worlds largest AI run coaching apps called Endorphins Running. We have been around for about 4 years now and it’s been incredible to see how much has evolved in the space (especially in the past 6 months). While AI coaching is our business, we are also equally well known for hosting free community events across the world! As the world shifts towards AI having a nice human touch is equally / if not more important. With how fast things in the AI market are changing I’m pumped to share and learn from everyone on how we can continue to improve as individual athletes and support as many people as possible in the pursuit of achieving their goals. I’ve run ~20 marathons. A handful of Ultras. And am based in NYC. If anyone is in NYC would be glad to meet up at one of the Endorphins runs in the city or just get a smaller group together to run and grab coffee. Week 1 Recap - "It's Just the Beginning"
Happy Friday AAC Team! Today marks the end of our first official week in existence and I couldn't more happy with how things have started out! Last week at launch, we had 0 people and now we are 24 strong and are growing every single day. The engagement has been fantastic and I love seeing the community wins come through! This entire community has been something I have wanted to build for a very long time and seeing it all come to life is truly magical. I want to do these weekly recaps as a way to just mark the work we have done: 1) To start the week, we launched the entire platform which at first seemed like a daunting task, but genuinely I think it turned out to incredible 2) We released 3 new Claude Code skills: a) Research my race b) FIFA Game Analyzer c) David Cloggins 3) We released 2 fun new Run Coach prompts: a) Connecting Claude to Apple Health and Google Calendar b) Then the same thing, but for Gemini And then to also highlight what is on the horizon: 1) Finishing out the Athlete OS build - next week I will release a part 2 advanced version of the 7 day athlete AI challenge - where we will take this base and turn it into a full blown personal AI fitness agent that goes with you wherever you want. 2) Advancing deeper into the physical world - some of my thoughts and ideas for how you can begin to take some of these advances in software and apply them to some really cool hardware ideas. The AI vision models have progressed so much that its going to create a ton of fun use cases 3) Coaches and race director content - this will be a bit more business focused in terms of how can you use AI to actually grow your fitness coaching and race events using AI. All of this is completely applicable to any company, but we will be focusing on fitness since that's where the fun is :) The roadmap ahead is bright and I can't wait to take this to the next level! If there are things people are looking for or are curious about, please let me know! And finally, this incredible start could not be possible without each and every one of you. So from the bottom of my heart thank you. And I can't wait to see what you build!

Q&A Follow-up!
Thank you to everyone who came to our first live monthly Q&A session! I hope you found it as helpful as I did. With this marking the end of our first full week we had a ton of good discussion about what is working and what are some things you would love to see! As a brief recap, see below for what we covered: 1) Finishing out the Athlete OS build - next week I will release a part 2 advanced version of the 7 day athlete AI challenge - where we will take this base and turn it into a full blown personal AI fitness agent that goes with you wherever you want. All of this is completely applicable to any company, but we will be focusing on fitness since that's where the fun is :) If anyone who didn't have a chance to attend has any thoughts on what they want to explore and learn, please drop a comment here and we will add it to the road map! As always, if there are any other questions or comments send them over! Kevin

Race Vault Idea
One of the ideas I have been playing around with is a way to make a more consolidated global directory for races and events: https://race-vault.vercel.app/ I hate having to go to 15 different websites to find my next race and when I do find the right website their UI is stuck in the 1950s.... The Race Vault directory scrapes across every major race platform daily to aggregate and remain current all while spanning multiple disciplines, states, and countries into a fairly straight forward UI. It's early stages, but curious on getting feedback from folks!
