Succes Journey of Oliver!
Big congratulations to Oliver on the journey he’s been on over the last couple of years. When he first came into the community, he was a structural engineer who’d just become chartered… but instead of feeling fulfilled, it was actually an anti-climax. He was working crazy hours, surrounded by negativity, and realised he was helping developers build wealth while putting his own goals on hold. No property experience. No business background. Just a decision that he wanted more control, more freedom, and a different path. Oliver first attended one of our 3-Day Property Bootcamps, then joined the Assets For Life Academy around 2.5 years ago. Like most people starting out, the first few months were all about setup, learning, networking, and getting around the right people. He even had to pause for a bit because of workload… but he stayed connected and kept moving forward. Fast forward to today… 12 property deals done. 9 live properties. A growing management business bringing in around £6k–£7k per managed deal monthly. He’s gone from working 5 days a week down to 2, hiring staff, and focusing more on working *on* the business instead of constantly being stuck *in* it. What I respect most is he didn’t try to rush or gamble. He found a strategy that suited him, focused on lower-risk property management, built strong relationships, and stayed consistent. And it all started from one connection… a friend of a friend. That’s why community matters so much. One conversation can completely change the direction of your life. Massive respect Oliver👏 What’s the biggest thing holding YOU back right now from getting started or taking the next step? And for those already on the journey, what’s been your biggest mindset shift so far?

Your website is speaking before you do.
Your website is often the first impression you make, and most people are either overpaying for mediocre work or underpaying and getting exactly that. I know someone currently taking on web design projects at a discounted rate. The work is clean, intentional, and built to actually serve your business. If that's something you need, reach out and I'll point you in the right direction.

The Renters’ Rights Act: What Investors Need To Know
Now the dust has settled around the Renters’ Rights Act… here’s what property investors really need to know. There’s been a lot of noise, fear, and headlines about landlords selling up, rising regulation, and the end of Section 21. But if you step back and look at the bigger picture, this isn’t the end of opportunity in property… it’s the start of a more professional era. Yes, the rules are changing. Yes, landlords will need better systems, clearer communication, and stronger tenant management. But the reality is this: Good operators will still do very well. The investors who struggle are usually the ones relying on outdated practices, poor management, or razor-thin margins with no real strategy behind the deal. What the market is actually demanding now is:• Better quality housing• Professional landlords• Stronger tenant relationships• Long-term thinking• Solid cash flow models And let’s not ignore the other side of the story… Demand for rental accommodation is still massive. Some operators in London are reportedly showing 15–20 people around a single studio apartment because supply simply isn’t keeping up. That tells you everything you need to know. People still need homes.Demand is still there. And well-run property businesses are still needed more than ever. This is why education, compliance, and choosing the right strategy matters now more than ever before. The game hasn’t ended. The standard has just gone up. Curious to hear from the community on this one… Do you think the Renters’ Rights Act will improve the industry long term or create even more pressure on supply? Reply in the comment section.
