How to spot a good investment
Want to spot a great investment property? Look for the worst house on the best street. For every pound you invest in a refurbishment, aim to get £3 back. It might vary, but that’s the goal. Focus on properties where you can add significant value—turning two bedrooms into three, adding a loft or conservatory, upgrading windows, doors, kitchen, and bathroom. If it looks rough, you’ve likely found a gem that can bring big returns.
