What Do I Present at My First AI Presentation?
I have an agreement to do a live training on AI for a church on the 3rd Saturday in September. Are there any premade presentations or trainings that I could use for the live in person training? Could I use one of the courses inside “The AI Course Alchemy: Mini Course Vault” and/or “The Community Cash Engine: DFY Content Vault” to use as a live training? Are there any other resources I can access to use for the training? I do appreciate any feedback!

Simple Problem & Opportunity: HS Volleyball Camp Registration
Simple Problem & Opportunity: Just got a call from our HS Volleyball Coach asking for a little help ahead of their 'recruitment' phase of the year where they promote a Summer Volleyball Camp... The camp is designed to bring awareness and interest to the community of forthcoming students who might be interested in playing volleyball at the club and school level... Problem #1: Promotion Problem #2: Registration I think both problems go hand-in-hand... Last year I helped them promote the camp and they got 120-ish campers / registrants. The registration was manual...in-so-much as they wanted the campers to print out the flyer and mail in a check (super old school and super manual)... So I said..."Hey I've got an idea that I'd like to get your opinion on..." [The idea is to help him with an Intelliform / Registration for the Volleyball Camp that also leads to a follow-up- confirmation email and link to payment.] Oh yeah, this coach is also an Attorney with his own firm... We're meeting tomorrow!
Need help figuring out how I can help!
Let me start out by warning you - it's a long post. My apologies! ___________ So I've grown a big enough audience in social groups here in Toronto that a couple of days ago a travel expo organizer reached out and asked if I'd like to promote the expo to my audience in exchange for space at the expo. I got on a Zoom call with Greg, their Florida director of something, and here's the skinny: - They'd held these expos in Toronto until 2019, the pandemic derailed that, and after things opened up again, they just focused on the US for the past few years. So they need to rebuild an audience from scratch. 5 years is a long time. - Our mayor and the provincial ministry of multiculturalism are both enthusiastic about the project - Greg's looking for: local promotion, local businesses signing up for space (commission opportunity), exposure to my audience (of course) - I'm one of several group owners they've reached out to. And so far, several seem actually interested in helping. - I've offered to get them on TV, hopefully have them interviewed on a morning show, also on radio - maybe do an interview. - They asked if I have inroads into the Indian community (I'm of Indian descent) - I told them I could get them into the Indian, Sri Lankan and Italian communities, and potentially into the Jordanian/Middle East community as well, and get businesses booking space at the expo. - They also asked if I'd be interested in hosting a vendor/exhibitor event where the vendors and my audience can mix-and-mingle. Of course I said yes. - Incentive for my audience: TBD. We both agreed that free tickets, while they'd be snapped up, are often not valued and people don't necessarily show up. So we'll work out some incentive - a discount on entry fee, expo swag, discounts from vendors, whatever. My personal inclination is a 10% discount at every booth for the attendee plus a 5% commission to me. 😉 That all sound good, yes? Yes. But. The challenge: - I've never taken on something at this scale. We're talking about 20k members in my audience, growing daily. - I've never approached TV/radio stations. - I need to introduce myself to a heck of a lot of businesses ASAP and tell them what's in it for them.
Got more details! What would you suggest?
I got back more details on the event I mentioned in mid-April. Here's the skinny. What would you do? First, this is an open networking event with a modest door fee that covers some munchies. (Excellent food, BTW!) I have a few things I can promote: 1) a full DFY podcasting service for busy people who want the benefits of a 15-episode podcasting series without any of the time, effort, and cost of DIY. (I'm using ClipCast.) I charge $250/episode for 15 + a $1k fee for a voice clone if they want their own voice, or a flat up-front fee of $3000, saving $1750. 2) something [TBD] built with AskSpot to promote results I can get them using AI tools. 3) something else related to using AI in their business that I can provide for them -- maybe more educational? 4) a talk like: "5 Caveats to Using AI Right Now" or something along that line. The Speaker spot is 15 mins long. I have no problem speaking for 15 mins. I can bring a lot of energy. The fees aren't an issue. I'm inclined to jump on the Speaker spot right away. I'm trying to figure out a way to get them set up with some QR-codes to put on everybody's name tag. It would require a way for them to scan the code themselves the first time and enter their contact info. After that, scanning would send their contact info to the person's phone. =================================== Hello David, This event was held back in August and we had over 100 people attend during the lunch time. It’s to be held on Thursday April 24th from 11am-2pm. We’re expecting an even bigger turnout than before. There are 10 Vendor spots and 4 Speaker spots. The Shortcut to Landing AI Clients (That Almost No One Uses)
Want more AI clients? Then stop hiding behind your laptop and start talking to people. Seriously!! Right now, business owners are scrambling to figure out AI—and most of them have no idea where to start. That’s where YOU come in. Here’s the Game Plan: Step 1: Get in front of real people. Stop obsessing over perfect social media posts and emails that never get opened. Instead, show up where business owners are already gathering. Networking events. Conferences. Chamber of Commerce meetings. Even the local coffee shop. Be the person who actually TALKS to people. Step 2: Show, don’t just tell. When you casually mention that you build AI tools, people might nod politely. But when you show them a custom AI solution that automates their workflow, generates personalized marketing content, or streamlines data analysis? That’s when they lean in. That’s when they start asking, “Can you do this for my business?” Business owners aren’t looking for AI just for the sake of having it—they want practical tools that help them save time, cut costs, and drive revenue. When you can demonstrate an AI tool built specifically for their needs, you become the person they want to work with. Step 3: Go where the money is. Business owners don’t care about AI just for fun—they care about results. So show up in places where people already have a budget for marketing, sales, and automation. Meetups for entrepreneurs. Mastermind groups. Business summits. And when you talk to them, focus on how AI can make them more money or save them time. Step 4: Casual conversations = $$$. AI is a hot topic. Next time you’re at the gym, waiting in line, or grabbing a drink, drop a simple, “I help businesses use AI to get more customers.” You’ll be amazed at how many people respond with, “Oh wow, I was just thinking about that!” Boom. Instant lead. Step 5: Take action TODAY. Don’t wait until you “feel ready.” Don’t wait until your website is perfect. The biggest opportunities come to the people who are willing to get out there, shake hands, and start real conversations. You don’t need to be an AI genius—you just need to show people how you can help.
