do you think consciousness and creativity are connected?

i've been exploring the idea that when we create, we're not just making something, we're accessing a deeper layer of awareness.

like the art already exists somewhere, and we're just the channel.

some of my most honest work has come from moments where i got out of my own way and just let something move through me. it didn't feel like "me" making it. it felt like something bigger expressing itself.

i think that's what consciousness does through creativity, it finds a way to know itself.
