vibe check: where are you at right now? 🌙 creatively, emotionally, energetically. choose your current state: 🌑 in the void (nothing's flowing, feeling stuck) 🌘 releasing (letting go of what's not working) 🌗 in between (transitioning, uncertain) 🌖 building (ideas forming, momentum growing) 🌕 full flow (creating, aligned, energized) 🌔 integrating (processing what you've created) drop your moon phase below 👇 if you're in the void, know you're not alone. every phase is important to prepare you for the next one. let it exist without judgment & tune into what you are being called to shed or grow into🦋

🌗 & 🌔 .... i currently feel i am in the middle of transitioning/uncertainty and processing what i have already created. i find myself comparing my work to other artists and allowing it to be a moment of reflection - listening closely to the stories im telling myself and how i can use these uncomfortable feelings to inspire change in my work and self-expression.

@Aqua LoPresti hiiiiii welcome aqua!🌌 your creative range is incredible!! painting, making clothing & crocheting - you're a true multi-passionate artist. this space was made for souls like you. "i am just a conduit to express it" - this is exactly how i feel when i create too. we're not making it up, we're channeling it. I'm so excited! i have been thinking about starting a new creative endeavor & crocheting is on the list! looking forward to learn from you and seek inspiration on where to start :) so glad you're here. can't wait to see what you share🌝

@Beatriz Steve hi Beatriz!! i am also still learning, creating, & evolving🌀 and allowing my soul's purpose to be just that. welcome, i am so excited to connect with you🌙
new video: how i stopped hiding and started creating 🌙
for every sensitive creative who feels stuck right now 🦋 i posted something i've been working on for a while. it's the story of how i went from lost and ashamed to confident and creating with purpose. three years ago, i didn't know myself. i let people take advantage of me. i pushed away my creativity. i felt broken for being sensitive. then, i learned creative alchemy. in this video, i share 3 steps that transformed everything for me. if you're in that "before" place right now - if you feel stuck, lost, or like you're hiding your gifts - this is for you. comment "ALCHEMY" below & ill send you the full workbook 🌙 the gem alchemy blueprint has waaay more insights and goes deeper into each step & it's completely free! let's do this transformation together 🦋

@Genie Appel-Cohen i believe we are constantly evolving & new transformations emerge at different phases in our lives. once we accept this, it is easier to be in tune with every version of ourself and discover our place in the world. thank you for this kind reflection :)
vulnerability challenge: share your hidden part
the parts of you that you hide are the parts people need to see 🦋 we spend so much time curating our "artist persona" that we forget the messy, weird, painful parts are what make the best pieces of art & people will connect to the most. here's mine: - growing up in predominantly white catholic schools taught me to perform normalcy - to laugh at jokes that hurt, to stay quiet when i had questions, to make myself smaller so they'd feel comfortable - i've spent so much energy trying to be understood that sometimes disappearing feels easier than translating myself to people who don't speak my language - i come from a family of immigrants and being first gen means i'm too american for my family and too foreign for everyone else - i exist in this painful in-between that shaped everything i create - my sensitivity made me feel broken until i realized it was my gift - i still sometimes wonder if i'm "too much" your turn. drop ONE thing about yourself that you usually hide. the thing you think makes you "too sensitive" or "too weird" or "too broken" to be a real artist. because i promise - that's the thing that makes your art healing. comment below 👇 let's normalize the messy human parts🫀

@David Geffen this comment is art itself. "two souls meet in a moment of understanding" - you just described exactly why we create, why we share, why we keep going even when it's scary. this beautiful piece creates that bridge too. thank you for being here and for sharing your soul with us 🤍 what inspired this art piece?

@Elizabeth Jaworski this broke my heart open. i've lived this too... staying small feels safer & you're making yourself small to avoid the pain of feeling that from others. but here's what i see: you're already worth noticing. the fact that you can articulate this so clearly shows how deeply you understand yourself. that's not small. that's powerful🖤
show us what you've made🫀
it’s the last month of the year, and naturally it brings up a lot of reflection: sometimes uncomfortable, other times beautifully introspective. as artists and creatives, we’re so quick to jump into “what’s next” that we forget to pause, celebrate ourselves, and show gratitude for what we’ve already created… for all the ways we’ve shown up. i know so many of you have a piece of yourselves you’ve shared or have been wanting to share. so tell me: what are you most proud of creating this year, and what inspired it? it can be anything. big or small. unfinished or polished. don’t hold back, this is your safe space. i love exploring the minds and hearts of other creatives, and i can’t wait to see a glimpse of yours💛✨

this year, i’m most proud of recording and releasing my first EP, but for reasons you might not expect. i battled imposter syndrome the entire way through. there were moments i questioned if it was good enough, moments where i wanted to scrap it altogether, and yes… even voices around me saying it wasn’t my best work. releasing it felt uncomfortable both before and after it came out. but i persisted. i’ve always believed that my art isn’t meant for everyone & that it will reach the people it’s meant to reach, and anyone else is simply noise. i’m proud of myself because even in the face of doubt, discomfort, and outside opinions, i still chose to let my voice be heard. i know i’m not perfect. i know there’s so much growing and learning ahead of me. but my art is enough because it comes from me, and i am enough. my EP, “a foreign place,” explores the different forms of love and heartbreak i’ve experienced & how relationships shape who we are and how we see the world, often without us noticing. how love can feel unfamiliar, confusing, or distant because of what we’ve been conditioned to believe is “normal.” if you ever listen to it, i hope you find a piece of yourself in it❤️‍🩹 https://open.spotify.com/album/105wzbaPt48bPhkQ0IrxwA?si=myLk6nZyRXawb6bIzkq4Ig
