the power of becoming a beginner again🪄
one of the most transformative things you can do for your confidence is become a beginner again. when you start a new creative hobby, you're stepping into the unknown. you have no proof you'll be good at it. no guarantee you'll stick with it. and yet, something in you feels curious enough to begin anyway. there's something incredibly powerful about that. every time you allow yourself to learn, experiment, make mistakes, and create without needing perfection, you strengthen trust in yourself & you remind yourself that your worth isn't tied to talent, productivity, or mastery. it's tied to your willingness to show up. here's what starting something new can teach you: ✨ it builds self-trust. confidence isn't created by already knowing what you're doing. it's built through action. every time you try something unfamiliar, you prove to yourself that you can handle uncertainty and keep going anyway. ✨ it softens perfectionism. beginners are supposed to make mistakes. when you give yourself permission to be imperfect, you create space for play, growth, and genuine learning. ✨ it expands your world. new hobbies often lead to new communities, conversations, opportunities, and friendships. sometimes one small yes can open doors you never knew existed. ✨ it reveals hidden parts of yourself. there are interests, gifts, and passions you may never discover if you only stay within what's familiar. sometimes a new creative practice helps you meet a version of yourself you've never met before. ✨ it keeps your creativity alive. trying something new brings freshness back into the creative process. it awakens excitement, curiosity, inspiration, and a sense of wonder that can spill into every area of your life. sometimes a hobby isn't just a hobby, it's an invitation. an invitation to grow, explore, and reconnect with yourself in a new way. you don't always know why something is calling you. but curiosity is often worth listening to. 🐛 is there a creative hobby you've been thinking about starting lately? what is it, and what draws you to it?

I haven’t started anything new creatively however, my approach to my art practice in life has shifted within the last month. I noticed that I’m choosing my innocence. Versus choosing the path that creates confusion and the path that has the most resistance. To not pick everything apart, but allow my ideas to come through naturally. I’m no longer fighting against the flow that I’m in just making sure that I respond to it the moment it shows up and allow it to be processed through and then I can move onto something else. Sometimes I make it overwhelmed and have to fight the inner perfectionist and responsible adult. But I’ve been reminding myself that life is fun waking up every day and being able to create is a part of this existence and it’s meant to be fully experience and not cut short or neglected. So yeah, I would say I’m beginning a new approach that resonates with me more and keeps me at ease.
🧠how conscious are you, really?
consciousness is one of those things that still feels… out of reach. like we can talk about it, study it, try to define it, but it never fully lets itself be understood. who are you? why are you here? are you even here… or just aware of being here? is this all something you’re experiencing… or something you are? the questions don’t end💭 and even as science keeps uncovering more layers, there’s still a part of this that can’t be handed to us - it's something we have to experience for ourselves. this video breaks down different levels of consciousness, and what it feels like to move through them. everyone sees consciousness differently… but one thing feels true: we’re all living in completely different versions of reality, even while sharing the same world. could that be tied to the level of awareness we’re operating from? watch this with an open mind… and when you come back, answer truthfully: 🌀what level of consciousness do you feel you’re currently in? 🌀what do you feel might help you move into the next? https://youtu.be/IqXpzcfdtn4?si=pkug-PwZgowhtIc7

@Shakira Beltre this is my first time learning about AUDHD. I’ve also wondered within our ancestry or just with DNA in general. Does the body have a way of rejecting things that are not spiritually sound for us? Whether this just be food, antibiotics etc. Like a way for the body to restore self physically spiritually and mentally. I did a deep dive on deep seek. I’m going to share the link with you but still looking through some research. https://chat.deepseek.com/share/xytx7mmicb7uq6kzrf

✨ a little late, but i still wanted to take a moment to welcome some of our newest members to the community! ✨ @Alyssa Jae @Ashleigh Fowler @Ava Reynolds @Arianna Escalante @Mitchell Chloe @Amanda Smith whether you joined a few days ago or recently found your way, i’m so glad you’re here🥳 i've been reflecting lately and realizing that sometimes i overthink how i should show up as a community leader. i spend so much time thinking about what to post, what would be valuable, or how to create the perfect experience that it can actually create more distance than connection. and that's the opposite of what i want this space to be. whether you're new here or you've been around for a while: ✨ what are you most interested in exploring right now? 🎨 what topics would you love to see more of in this community? 🌱 what are you currently healing, unlearning, creating, or rediscovering within yourself? this community has always been about connection, curiosity, creativity, and expansion. i'm grateful you're here, and i'd love for us to get to know each other a little more! drop a comment and say hello💭

Hey, my love!! You are never late, right on time. I can relate to how you're feeling as a community leader. We have our seasons, and we are building spaces where people can relate and support this. We show up when we can, the energy we have, and what we wish to connect more about --- that is enough! You are enough! The space you have created is so beautiful, and I am so glad to be a part of it and to share it with you. (I felt called to express, so I hope you do not mind - haha) This all ties into where I am right now. Just wanting to genuinely connect with people, listen to their stories, and be an observer of the world. I'm not always seeking or maybe have the space to always interact, but just being a "butterfly" flying around the conversation and observing human connection is where I am at. I think about: "How can we communicate better? How can we be more approachable? How can we be more introspective? How can we be more honest?" (I've been applying this to some changes in my business and for the new workshops I'm building for artists. I was behind on content for the last two months and finally caught up. 🫠 The moment I removed being hard on myself, I just created and communicated with my community, and it was supported and understood.) It takes great leaders like us to initiate and continue to show up---I am so proud of you for initiating and showing up authentically! 🌱 In my personal life, I am reminding myself of my power. Telling myself not to feel guilty for advocating for myself and respecting my time when I need to be in my own head. To not build systems or have relationships that pressure me into things that make me feel uncomfortable. This time away helps me evolve, hear my own thoughts, but also be my best self when I become social again. So yeah, that's my spill. Sending a warm hug!! 💙
the spiritual side of creativity no one talks about...
in this video, i open up about my relationship with creativity, spirituality, identity, and self-expression. growing up between strict religious environments and survival-based expectations, i disconnected from parts of myself for a long time, especially the artistic parts. i judged creativity because deep down, i was afraid of it. afraid of what it would reveal, where it would lead me, and who i would become if i fully embraced it. but over time, i realized creativity is so much more than “making art.” it’s a mirror. a portal. a conversation with the self. the more i allowed myself to create honestly, the more hidden emotions, desires, wounds, and truths began to surface. and to me, that is alchemy. turning confusion into clarity, pain into expression, and silence into song. this video is for anyone who has ever felt disconnected from themselves, stuck in comparison, afraid to be seen, or unsure if they’re “creative enough.” creativity is not reserved for a chosen few, it’s a human experience. and sometimes, it is what leads on a path we've been resisting. after you watch, i’d love to hear from you: ✨ do you believe creativity can be spiritual? why or why not? ✨ was there ever a time in your life where you felt disconnected from self-expression? what led you back to it? ✨ what forms of creativity make you feel most alive lately? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIFSl-QsQqg

a warm welcome to our newest alchemists @Dr Crystal D Woods & @Sonja Golchin 🪄 so glad you found your way here! art & alchemy is a space for curious minds and creative souls. where we explore art, spirituality, psychology, consciousness and the deeper questions that don't always have easy answers💭 you don't have to have it all figured out, you just have to be willing to show up and see what unfolds. so take your time, look around, and share whatever feels right. we'd love to get to know you a little: 🌀 what does creativity mean to you right now, are you actively creating or still finding your way back to it? 🌀 what's a question or topic you've been curious about lately? can't wait to hear from you🫀 (everyone else go say hi and show some love 💫)
