Mindful Moments Meditation is happening in 22 hours
Mountain Meditation
During this mornings live mediation with @April Johnson, this is the mountain I visualized. This is from a trip I took with my sister to Colorado, Pikes Peak in 2008. This is was my first experience with mountains including going to the top. During the mediation I realized I actually sat up taller as I visualize me being a mountain. It was the perfect start to my day!

Insprired!
I have been doing some very minor research on making my own tea blends to have before bed. Besides the dried herbs I got for making the bitter tincture, I picked up a couple more today and am really enjoying what I made tonight. You could say I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the inspiration to try something new! 1 part chamomile 1 part lemon balm 1/2 part orange peel 1/2 part oatstraw

Random Acts of Kindness
Happy Feel-Good Friday, beautiful souls! 🌟 Today, I'm thrilled to introduce our Random Acts of Kindness Challenge. Let's spread some joy and make the world a little brighter, one kind gesture at a time! Acts of kindness, no matter how small, can create a ripple effect of positivity. When we take the time to express kindness, we not only uplift others but also nurture our own well-being. It's amazing how simple gestures can brighten someone's day and reinforce our connection to the community. Here's your challenge for today: Perform at least one random act of kindness. It doesn't have to be grand or complicated. In fact, it can be as simple as: 1. Giving someone a genuine smile 2. Holding the door open for a stranger 3. Complimenting a coworker or friend 4. Offering to help a neighbor with a task 5. Leaving an encouraging note for someone to find Remember, these acts of kindness reflect the essence of gratitude - recognizing the goodness in others and appreciating their presence in our lives. Studies have shown that when we do an act of kindness, it impacts both the person receiving it and the person doing it by releasing feel-good chemicals and changing our state. Not only that, it also affects others who witness the act of kindness. This is because contribution is one of our core human needs. When you practice acts of kindness, you're engaging in active mindfulness. You're fully present in the moment, bringing both yourself and the recipient into a state of full engagement with the present moment AND paying forward your positive thoughts by brightening someone's day. So, are you ready to take on this challenge? Let's fill our day with kindness and see how it transforms not just our lives, but the lives of those around us. Share in the comments what act of kindness you plan to do today or, if you've already done one, how it made you feel. Let's inspire each other to create a wave of kindness in our community! Remember, every small act of kindness has the power to change someone's entire day. You never know how much impact your simple gesture might have.
