Fabulous Friday
What was your biggest win, accomplishment, or something you’re super proud of this week or upcoming weekend? For me? Getting through my husband’s first colonoscopy. No joke. When he gets stressed, he struggles to retain information, and it’s slowly gotten worse with age. I’ve had a theory about this for a while. No right or wrong here, just observation mixed with things I’ve learned over the years. My work requires constant mental problem-solving, critical thinking, adapting, learning, and processing. His work is more physical, hands-on, and built around skills and knowledge he already knows deeply. From what I understand through people like Tony Robbins and Joe Dispenza, the brain and nervous system are always adapting to what we repeatedly practice. The more we live in stress, fear, urgency, or predictability, the more automatic those patterns become. So when he notices himself forgetting things or struggling to process information under pressure, his body immediately goes into panic mode. And once the nervous system shifts into stress and survival, the brain becomes less efficient at retaining, processing, and recalling information in the moment. It’s almost like the fear of “something’s wrong with me” creates even more overload. I think a lot of us experience versions of this. You walk into a room and forget why. Someone asks you a question while you’re overwhelmed and your brain blanks. You reread the same sentence 4 times because your mind is somewhere else. Sometimes it’s not a lack of intelligence. Sometimes the system is just overloaded. The cool part? The brain and body are adaptable. We can build new patterns, new emotional responses, and calmer states over time. Anyways… that was my win this week. We survived the prep, the stress, the overthinking, and the procedure. 😂 He did have a couple polyps removed, and they are in for testing, but I truly feel they are all good.

Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Moms in this community! Dragons hold a special place in my heart. The mystical creatures represent energy that becomes destructive when unconscious, but powerful when integrated. - respect instead of control - partnership instead of domination - courage instead of avoidance The dragon is often the force that changes the person who encounters it. This clearly explains my journey along with so many others. Letting go of extreme control for calm and respect, collaboration over domination and finding courage instead of avoidance. What has been your journey thus far? Can you relate to the dragon forces?

There’s something we don’t talk about enough: Sometimes our children are mirrors. And sometimes we don’t like what we see. When she withdrew and hung onto hurts longer than expected, especially because of her neurodivergence, I had to face something uncomfortable. She wasn’t just reacting to the world. She was reacting to me. Not in blame. Not in shame. In awareness. My intensity. My urgency. My old survival patterns. Here’s what I learned: You can’t demand emotional safety. You create it. You can’t force closeness. You model openness. And you can’t rush healing. You embody patience. If I had stayed in my old patterns, I may have lost her. (Laterally) But I chose differently. And now? We have a solid relationship built on space, understanding, and mutual growth. Not avoiding what's real and suicide comes up from time to time, but we openly discuss it before it ever get to far, she gets the help she wants and needs in different ways and we build from a place of open conversation vs controled. The cost of not evolving as a parent is distance. The reward of evolving is depth. Micro-momentum: Ask your child one question this weekend that has no correction attached to it. “What’s something you wish I understood better about you?” Then just listen. Where have you grown the most as a parent in the last few years?

Fabulous Friday
Today is Fabulous Friday, and I learned something this week that made me smile. Chinese New Year begins February 17, 2026, and it’s the Year of the Fire Horse. If you’re into that kind of thing, it’s known for passion, movement, bold action, and fresh beginnings. And numerology calls 2026 a Universal Year 1 (fresh start energy, leadership, new chapters). I didn’t know any of that a week ago. But I did know this: something in me was ready to stop “thinking about change”… and actually move. That’s why I chose to launch Ignite Your Personal Power as a beta at $100 until Jan 11 (MST).Lifetime access to the program and this community. Real tools. Simple structure. No pressure, no perfection. Because here’s the truth I keep seeing again and again…The biggest blocks isn’t what we think it is, it's awareness. Dr. Phil said it best: “You cannot change what you do not acknowledge.” When you finally see the pattern, you stop fighting yourself… and your next step gets quieter, cleaner, and way less scary. Micro-momentum - take 2 minutes and write this down: 1. “The place I’m forcing right now is…” 2. “A tiny power move I can repeat for 7 days is…” If you want structure and support for that kind of shift, come join us in Ignite Your Personal Power (IYPP), and if you know someone who’s been saying “this year has to be different”, feel free to share the link with them. Ignite Your Personal Power: https://www.dynamicliving.ca/iypp Discount ends Jan 11 (MST). Program begins Jan 12. What are you choosing to start again this year… but differently?
