Beginner Question
So, I have finally made 10 songs that I like enough to publish. I go to put on YouTube which one I did but was so confused from how it was back in the day. I am an old skool dude. When I have an artist what apps, sites, profiles etc. do I need to make personally and what does Distrokid or a distrubutor make for me. Do I personally need to make a Bandcamp? Spotify? Apple Music? TikTok? Instagram? FaceBook? etc? What do I need to make and what does the distributor make? Please explain and list all that I need to make personally and what does the distrubutor make, if anything. Thank you to amyone who helps.
YouTube OAC
I have songs and videos that I want to put on YouTube now but don't want to wait the 6 Weeks for the OAC. What should I do?
Mastering
Do you guys split stems when you master? What is your mastering process?
Upload frequency check – what's working for you?
Hi everyone! 👋 I've been diving deeper into AI music lately and I'm curious about something practical: how much do you all typically upload per day or per week? I want to keep growing steadily, but I'd love to avoid pushing too hard and accidentally tripping any spam/shutdown flags on platforms like YouTube, Spotify or DistroKid. If you've found a rhythm that works well for you (and hasn't caused any issues), I'd really appreciate hearing about it! 🙏 Thanks in advance, and hope everyone's releases are going well this week!
