Just finished my first 12-track dark fantasy album! 🎉 I'm at the stage where I'm getting everything ready for DistroKid before releasing everything to YouTube, and I'm trying to remember what Jesse recommended for preparing and mastering tracks before distribution. I know he covered it somewhere, but I can't seem to find it in all my PDFs and notes from Jesse. I've been using the free version of BandLab, but I'm curious what everyone here is actually using to get that polished, professional sound before uploading to DistroKid. Are you sticking with BandLab, or are you using something else? Any mastering apps, workflow tips, or recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you so much.

So now chatgpt can make music using what it already knows about your ai bands. Claude as well. Still need to play with it but its better than Suno V6 in my opinon.

Well I know right off the bat, it is gonna suck just using "raw" Suno. I know it's gonna be a limited due to only knowing the warner library. So, I approached it differently. Was gonna use my DAW, but I decided to make some hard hitting beats in ChatGPT (yes ChatGPT) using the Elevenlabs plugin. ChatGPT knows my style for Angeli et Diaboli. Only we gave this a unique twist. It spit out the instrumentals for me, and I fed the instrumentals into Suno V6 Pro. After doing so, I was shocked that my band trio still exists in V6 and these masterpieces came out... 😲 So no raw Suno ever again. Not unless I have a catalyst to make it sound like V5.5 on crack lmao. 😂

There is also currently NO published DistroKid rule that I have found that says: "Using a keyword automatically gets your DistroKid account banned." I do not want anyone spreading that as fact. But, ⚠️ IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE SEARCH TERMS IN YOUR SONG OR ALBUM TITLES, YOU ARE DOING IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM JUST SHARING WHAT I AM DOING AND WHAT IS WORKING FOR ME.
