Are you staying with DistroKid or moving to another distributor?
What's up, guys? I wanted to ask how you're reacting to the recent events. What have you decided for yourselves—are you going to change your distributor or not? It's probably better not to release your albums through DistroKid after all, since you can end up dealing with unpaid royalties or delays. Honestly, it's better to switch to another distributor and just upload your albums there instead, right? What do you say? What do you think about this?

@Terrence Bullock Is it easy to upload multiple songs at once, or do you have to dig into each song a lot and select various options? Because based on what I saw in a video, you have to choose many options for each individual song to upload an entire album. Or has something changed recently? "

@Terrence Bullock I understand. Thanks for the information, I'll think about it. And tell me, please, do you know any of our colleagues who have already been paid on time by this service toolost from YouTube, YouTube Music, and everything else?
Are independent AI music creators being squeezed out by major labels?
Unfortunately, major labels and corporate giants are trying to take full control of AI technology and AI music production, shutting out ordinary independent creators from releasing music and earning a living. They are pressuring platforms like YouTube, which are terrified of lawsuits, leading to strict censorship and suppressed reach for independent AI tracks. My channel metrics reflect this exact squeeze: a new YouTube channel gets virtually zero views, and even switching back to an older channel yields embarrassing results like 6 views per video. YouTube Music used to offer some traction, but even those numbers have dropped significantly. Looking ahead, it feels like they will either ban independent AI music entirely or make the rules so restrictive that it becomes impossible to profit. It is deeply demotivating. Is anyone else experiencing this drop in views and platform reach with their releases, or is it just me?

I need help
Hi I have a question about keys intitles. Imagine i chosed a key from vid iq for example meditation music, should I stick to a consistent title format like "Album Title (Meditation Music) in distrokid. And for youtube for example Meditation music|246hz healing music|For a peaceful night. Or should I let VidIQ generate random, optimized titles for each video in youtube? What works best for your channel's growth? To make sure I have this right: i want to ask whether it's okay to post your YouTube video immediately after you submit your album to DistroKid, right? Thank you

@Terrence Bullock So, it's still better to put one tag in the channel and one tag under the video. And this tag should be about the niche. And nothing else. Did I understand correctly?

@Terrence Bullock Yes, I'm talking about a YouTube video channel. So, does that mean no more than 2-3 tags for the channel and 2-3 tags for the video( i am talking about tags, but not hashtags in description ) and then add a few more tags over time as the channel becomes recognizable?
