Best AI for Character Consistency?

I’m using ChatGPT to generate images of my character, and overall I really like the results—but I’m having a heck of a time with character consistency. I also sometimes get weird swirly skin textures and hatch marks in his beard. He needs to look like a real person.

What have you found works best (preferably GREAT 😛) for character consistency?

Is there an AI image program you’re using that consistently keeps your character looking like the same person and that you’re really happy with?

I tried training a LoRA, but after spending about 12 hours with it, still getting pretty lousy results.

I’d really like to keep the process as simple as possible. What’s actually working for you guys?
