Just got back to the dealership.
Guys, it’s been 12 days since I got back to the dealership and dove into the CRM for Q1. I found out our speed-to-lead is insanely bad—we’re losing almost all the shared leads Acura sends out because we just aren't fast enough. By the time we respond, customers are already finalizing deals elsewhere.
To fix this, I built a speed-to-lead tool that attaches natively to our CRM via API. I showed the MVP to my GM yesterday, and he’s actually considering showing it to the owner, which is a huge win. I’m even heading out to form my LLC today to get everything officially established.
I also wanted to share how much value I’m getting from this group. Nate, your videos have been a massive help. Even if I don't need a specific workflow, I’ve been following along side-by-side just to get the reps in. It’s given me the confidence to navigate the technical side myself—I’m even using the CLI for Claude Code now, something I never thought I’d be doing.
Shout out to this community and shout out to Nate. Keep grinding, keep working hard, and don’t stop chasing it!
