Clinical Lab Reporting and Imaging Analysis
Scaling AI to Medical Imaging
The $10,000 question: Can AI handle more than just text?
Most people think AI automation is just for summarizing emails. We’re taking it into the radiology lab.
I’m currently enhancing our SaaS workflow to move beyond standard lab reports. We’ve just added automated imaging analysis for: 🩻 X-Rays 🧠 CT Scans 🫀 2D Echoes
Why most "Medical AI" fails:
If you send a complex imaging report to a general LLM, you get generic results. It misses the nuance of a specific modality.
The solution: The Modality-Specific Nano-Agent.
In our latest solution, we built a Smart Router. The system identifies the report type and sends it to a "Specialist Agent" trained specifically for that modality.
X-Ray Processor: Focuses on bone density and fractures.
CT Scan Processor: Trained for high-resolution cross-sectional data.
Emergency Trigger: If the AI detects critical values (like specific creatinine or eGFR thresholds), it bypasses the queue and sends an immediate WhatsApp/Telegram alert to the doctor and patient.
The Tech Stack
Backend: n8n (hosting the multi-agent logic).
Storage: Secure Google Drive integration for medical files.
Front-end: Currently building a custom user dashboard in Vercel to give labs a seamless experience.
We aren't just automating documents; we’re building a clinical safety net.
🚀 I'm looking for 2 more clinical labs to beta-test this imaging module.
