Claude Basic plan is better than my n8n workflow. well that sucks!

Yesterday I was getting my outreach lead list ready.

Was feeling lazy so remembered claude supports MS Office apps now.

Gave it to claude and said to sift through to find relevant leads only in the niche i want to target.

It did and pretty fast, then I thought...

I typed "can you research?" (ss added below and literally that's all no 300 word prompt)

It asked questions and went to work.

Gave me the details about their companies, all accurate. No Apify API required.

I asked that it should have personalized specific details. It got to work and made it happen.

Then I said that I want personalized Icebreakers for Email and LinkedIn cold outreach. It delivered.

Then i gave it 2 screenshots of a linkedin post on how to nail initial messages on linkedin and also SOPs to make it sound human. (SS added so you can do so too 😉)

It did and now I have categorized Lead list with personalized lines to instantly get to work.

I just need to use Clay to get emails now but that can cost money for a larger number of leads, and wanted to keep this post on Zero Costs.

My n8n workflow did this exact thing but with added LLM API costs and much longer per lead due to scraping and error handling flows. Plus the prompt needed to be adjusted for every niche.

Claude took 30 minutes max. And now i got 2 columns of 200+ personalized lead icebreakers.
