Pocket Money Prints 🥰
we’re all feeling the tension of the world a little at the moment 😢🌎 and I’ve been thinking about how things like collecting art can start to feel out of reach. but that shouldn’t be the case ! sometimes it’s the smallest things that help us feel a bit more like ourselves again 🥰 so I’m introducing something gentle… pocket money prints. little pieces of art, priced at less than a coffee something you don’t have to overthink each month there’ll be a limited edition print a small gift you can give yourself 🤍 this month’s print is a lily a quiet symbol of peace, floating gently on water a reminder to slow down, even for a moment little pieces of art, A6 priced at $5 a month (less than a coffee) if you’d like to, you can head to Premium and select Pocket Money Prints this is a monthly subscription, but it can be cancelled at any time 🫶🏻 and here’s the important part… you only stay if you like that month’s print 🤍 if it’s not for you, you simply skip or cancel no pressure at all 🥰🙏🏼 a little pocket of calm you can hold

✨ A Little Update from Me ✨
After sitting with it for a while, I’ve decided to lower the price of The Smidgen Post to $8 ☕ I wanted to be really honest with you… it hasn’t quite found its feet yet, and rather than force it, I’d much rather shape it into something that feels accessible, welcoming, and worth being part of. Also — this community means so much to me. The support, the kindness, the way you all show up… it doesn’t go unnoticed 🥹 So this feels like the right step. A smaller, softer offering… but still full of all the love, creativity, and care I put into everything I make 💛 If you’ve been thinking about joining, this might be your little nudge. You can access this by changing your membership to premium ❤️ And as always, thank you for being here you really are what makes this space so special 🥰🫶🏻🙌🏻😘

My First Smidgen
What a lovely first introduction to this community from the classroom! Here is my contribution. Took a “little” more than 5 minutes, but absolutely achieved shoulders down state. My current favorite medium is collage. Just beginning to play with that. And with all art (and life) “Done is better than perfect.”
My First Smidgen
Today would have been my dad’s 86th birthday. ❤️🙏
Today would have been my dad’s 86th birthday. I lost him in September, and as you can imagine, days like today invite a lot of quiet reflection. The very first Smidgen Post has been created with that feeling in mind. This artwork is about reflection pausing, remembering, and holding space for the people who shape us. It reflects his life, and the way I still feel him with me, especially when I’m making art. The pic below is of him and me on his 70th birthday and amazingly he flew me round our local area in the plane behind, it was an experience that will stay with me forever 💜✈️ If you choose to join Premium, this is what you receive: - ✉️ The Smidgen Post a monthly piece of original artwork, sent with care - 🌿 A slower, more intentional creative space to return to each month - 💛 Artwork made with meaning, not mass-produced, always personal This first print is already waiting inside Premium, ready to be claimed. It feels really special to be sharing this one it’s gentle, thoughtful, and full of heart. If it resonates with you, you’re very welcome to join us. Sometimes art says the things we can’t quite put into words. A smidgen of calm, Kate
