Finished the 8-hour n8n course… built projects, now how do I get my first client?
Hey everyone 👋 I just finished the Build & Sell n8n AI Agents (8+ hour course) and actually applied everything hands-on. I didn’t just watch — I built multiple workflows myself, So I feel like I now understand the concepts + can actually build real solutions. Now I’m trying to take the next step:👉 Getting my first paying client And honestly, this is where I feel a bit stuck. - Should I start with platforms like Upwork / Fiverr? - Or focus on cold outreach? - What kind of simple offer works best for the first client? - How did you land your first client with n8n? I’d really appreciate any advice, real experiences, or even small tips 🙏 If anyone here has been in the same position, what worked for you? Thanks!

@Shazo Altaf That actually makes a lot of sense. From what I’ve built so far, I think I’m strongest at solving: - Automating content creation (like generating LinkedIn posts via WhatsApp) - Customer support chatbots (especially for e-commerce) - Internal tools like invoice processing Right now I’m trying to narrow it down more, probably towards e-commerce since it feels like a clear use case with real ROI. Would you recommend going deeper into one specific problem!

@Faaz Khan Yeah that’s what I’m thinking too.
Title Search Said "Clear." It Wasn't. 🔥
Real estate closing. Title search came back clean. Ready to close. Except: The title company missed a mechanic's lien filed 6 months earlier. Different spelling of the property address. Their search didn't catch it. Discovered it 3 months after closing. $34,000 problem. Now I run my own title verification before every closing. Built a document cross-checker. Upload title commitment. Upload property tax records, permit history, and court records. System extracts all names, addresses, and legal descriptions. Cross-references across documents. Flags any discrepancies or missing information. The mechanic's lien would have been caught. Different address spelling, but same parcel number. System matches on multiple identifiers. Last 12 closings: 4 had issues the standard title search missed. - Unreleased mortgage satisfaction - Tax lien filed under previous owner's LLC - Easement not disclosed - Permit violation from 8 years ago Total exposure avoided: $127K. Trust but verify. Especially on six-figure transactions. What document verification are you trusting someone else to do correctly?

Trust but verify. Always.💗
I made $5K with Voice agents past month
Genuine question, how many of you are actually making money with AI yet? I hit $5k last month just building AI voice agents for local businesses using BlueSales. Each one takes maybe 15 minutes to set up and I charge anywhere from $500 upwards. Wanted to give something back so I'm building free voice agents for 3 people in this community. You keep it, resell it, use it as a portfolio piece, whatever. Just drop a comment with your niche and I'll pick the 3 most interesting ones. 👇

E-commerce - sounds interesting

I turned 19 yesterday. And I realized something interesting… I’m running out of time. So instead of overthinking — I built. From 12 AM to 4 AM, and again 9 AM to 11 AM… I vibe-coded a custom AI branding analyst + carousel generation system. Here’s what it does: → Analyzes your Instagram brand → Fixes your positioning & visual identity → Generates premium, high-converting carousel posts → (Next step) Auto-posting + scheduling via Meta Graph API Before this? I was: Manually generating carousels Fixing designs myself Spending 5–6 hours per post Now it’s becoming a system. Not just content… A branding engine. Currently: Not hosted yet (testing internally) UI/UX still being refined Output quality being pushed to “premium” level But the direction is clear. We’re moving from: “Posting content” → to “Building systems that grow accounts automatically” Curious to hear your thoughts: Should I integrate Meta’s official API for auto-posting… or use third-party tools like Buffer/Hootsuite for faster execution?

This is the right direction👏💗
How do you build workflows in n8n without getting stuck?
It's an odd question, because I never struggle with this. So I had to figure out why. This is not the conventional approach. Most devs write down the entire system before building. I don't. What I do is walk through every single step as if it's happening live. Let's say I'm building a WhatsApp lead nurturing system. First, leads have to enter n8n from the CRM. But on what rules? We don't want all leads to enter the flow. So we set up rules based on why they should enter. Then we figure out when and how they should receive a message. We don't want to send messages during holidays, weekends, or late at night. So we block those times out. Then we decide how many messages to send. When do we stop the automation? What if someone responds? What if someone asks us to stop? Yeah, it's a lot to think through. But if you skip this step, you'll miss things. The first time I built a lead nurturing system, I didn't think about holidays at all. Once a client flagged it, I added it to every build by default. Experience fills in the gaps. Writing it down and thinking through every step makes building easier. It also helps to understand the full process from start to finish. If you can't explain what's supposed to happen between A and B, you can't build it. If you can, building it is 10x easier
