Certificates alone don’t change anything.
In 2025, I focused a lot on learning. Courses. Certifications. Methods. Frameworks. They all have value. But over time, I realized something simple: Theory only matters when it’s lived through the body. Certificates don’t change the body. They don’t change the mind. Practice does. That’s why 2026 is about practice for me. Not perfection. But presence. Consistency. And honesty. Just sharing the beginning of the journey. The body wants to move. The mind wants to believe.

@Geneva Burgess Geneva, thank you so much for sharing this. I’m deeply grateful you took the time to write it. What you described is exactly what I believe in — the body knows long before the mind catches up. After everything you’ve been through, choosing to listen, to move gently, and to honor your body is incredibly powerful. I’m really happy you found your way back to movement in your own rhythm. I wish you the courage and kindness to keep walking this path, step by step, just as it feels right for you. Thank you for trusting the process — and for trusting yourself. ❤️
A small hang for a lighter body (even at Christmas)
Christmas can be beautiful… and also a bit heavy – food, stress, family, expectations. Your shoulders and spine feel all of it. They carry bags, emotions, and long hours of sitting. One of the simplest gifts you can give your body is to hang for a few seconds. Nothing fancy. No ego. Just support. Try this today – maybe even between cookies and family time: 1. Find a safe place to hold on to(a bar, a sturdy door frame, playground bar). 2. Keep your feet on the ground or on a box. 3. Gently let your body sink down for 5–10 seconds. 4. Breathe slowly. Relax your jaw, your neck, your belly. 5. Repeat 3–5 times. You’re not training for a pull-up You’re just giving your body a small Christmas pause. Afterwards, notice: Does your body feel a little longer, lighter, or softer? Your body wants to move. Your mind wants to believe.

@Leslie Riopel Wao, Thank you very much for your Comment 🙏
You experience what you believe
Have you noticed how your mind loves to prove itself right? If you believe people don’t care, you start to see only the moments when they don’t. If you believe your body is weak, every little tension feels like proof. And if you believe you’re not enough, even compliments feel suspicious. The truth is: you don’t just look at life — you look at it through your beliefs. The good news? What you believe can change. Slowly. Gently. One thought at a time. 👉 What is one belief about yourself or your body that you would like to soften or change? Your body wants to move. Your mind wants to believe. 💫

The greatest tool we have is our body
We are born. We start to move. We crawl, stand up, walk, run, jump. And somewhere along the way… we stop paying attention to it. Yet our body is the most amazing tool we’ve ever been given. Not an app. Not technology. Not an external gadget. 👉 The body is the tool through which we experience life. And if we have something this precious, maybe our goal is not just to “maintain” it, but to explore what it’s truly capable of. Not for performance. Not for ego.But for the joy of movement, for health, for coming back to ourselves. That’s why here, in From Weight to Strength,we’re starting a new series:The basic movement patterns of the human body. Simple. Natural. Human. Step by step, we’ll look at: - hanging and support, - pulling and pushing, - the deep squat, - bending forward, - moving through space, - and also rest and recovery. And for each movement, we’ll add a small perspective for the mind. Because the body moves… and the mind either blocks it, or believes in it. 👉 If you had to answer in one sentence today: What would you like to rediscover about your body? The body wants to move. The mind wants to believe.

Why I love hanging for shoulder health
Did you know that simply hanging from a bar for a few seconds can help your shoulders, grip, and posture? When you hang with your arms overhead: - your shoulders get a gentle stretch and strength work, - your grip gets stronger, - your spine gets a little decompression from all the sitting and slouching we do. The best part? It’s simple. And it usually feels good. You don’t have to start with a full dead hang. You can keep your feet on the floor or a box, hold for 5–10 seconds, breathe, and slowly build up over time. 👉 Today’s invitation: Find a safe place to hang, keep your toes on the ground, and try 3–5 gentle hangs for 5–10 seconds with slow breathing. Notice how your shoulders and spine feel afterwards. Your body wants to move. Your mind wants to believe. ..for more: https://gmb.io/hanging/
