How are you using LinkedIn to grow your Skool?
Here are 10 things Iโm doing to leverage LinkedIn for Skool to help me grow my community during the Blitz and beyond! ๐ฅณ I have 36,000 followers on LinkedIn and itโs one of the main places Iโm using to drive my Skool growth. Iโd be curious to know whatโs working for you, or any other strategies you are using on the LinkedIn platform? 1) Add your Skool to your โFeatured Sectionโ as the main and first media link (see https://linkedin.com/in/samrathling-linkedinexpert/ as an example). 70 % of LinkedIn users access on mobile so make it the first link. Picture screen shot below. 2) Add your Skool to the link at the top of your profile. This feature is being removed for people who never had it but if you already have a link under your header image you can edit it. Iโve got mine hyperlinked under โFree LinkedIn Training Coursesโ. Picture of this below. 3) If you pay for premium or Sales Nav, you can set an โAwayโ message, like an Out of Office to any 1st degree connection. I have this set up. If we are connected, send me a message and youโll see it, Iโve added a picture below. 4) Talk about your Skool in your โAboutโ section (main bio) and add the link, that is 2600 characters of space to share info about your Community. It wonโt be clickable but make sure itโs easy and memorable as a URL. 5) Change your Custom link to redirect to your Skool, again this is only available for Premium or Sales Nav users but it will appear above every piece of content you write, and in every DM. I have mine set to โVisit my Storeโ and it drives click through to my Skool. 6) Talk about your Skool in your content and Comments under posts. Donโt do this all the time, but on educational posts, where you are providing value you might say, for more tips like this and other free resources (go to my Featured section on my profile / click on โVisit my Storeโ at the top of this post if you have the Custom button). 7) Add your Skool into your header image. Visually draw attention to it. You can have 3-5 images as a slideshow with Premium or Sales Nav. Or one on the free version. Design in Canva using templates.
