And that gap… that maddening AF, confusing too, why the fck is this not working gap… just keeps getting wider… And I know what that voice in the back of your head is saying because I've heard it from so many people and honestly I've felt it myself…

Like… I literally sit with people every single week inside The Backroom and go… right… what are we overcomplicating… where are we wearing the wrong hat… where is the simplicity hiding underneath all this noise… And there I was… Six hats on. Spinning. Wondering why naff all felt right. Talking about simplicity whilst living in an absolute head twiddling state. Preaching SPINE… whilst my own spine was doing something very questionable… 😂 SAY IT. DO IT. OWN IT. is literally on the Backroom door… And here I was being a right faffer So here's what twelve months of ignoring my own advice looked like… Two communities. Two offers. Two calendars. Two of everything. 6 Tiers. People messaging me going which group do I put this in… which live should I join… I feel split… Yeah. That is not simplicity Mimi. 😬 That is the opposite of everything The Backroom stands for and everything I built it for. And the SECOND I finally did the thing… Twelve minutes. TWELVE. MINUTES. To feel more aligned than I had in a year. You know that client. The one who comes to you and they're spreading themselves so thin across five different things and you can see immediately that THAT is exactly why nothing is working? Yeah. That was me. I have been running two Skool communities. Magnetise Your Message (MYM) AND THE BACKROOM. Two spaces. Two calendars. Two sets of content. Two of absolutely everything. not to mention 6 tiers pffffttt And every single week, I would show up and talk about focus. About clarity. About picking your lane and going all in. I know. I KNOW. (Eye rolling myself) When Skool introduced tiers everybody said to me just put it all in one place Mimi. And I was like nah I can do it all. I can have two communities, three communities, four communities, all the funnels, all the things, all of it. Spoiler. Eeeekkk. I could not do it all. It took me all this time to admit to myself. So I finally stopped avoiding it and I merged everything. Magnetise Your Message, my two year old baby that I have poured my entire soul into, into 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺. And here is what I learned that might actually save you some pain... 𝟭. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲. I kept asking myself what's the difference between the two communities. And the honest answer was... me. Spread thin. Energy split. Neither getting the full version of what I wanted to give. 𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻. They want YOU. All of you. In one place. Every time they had to decide which community to jump into for what it was friction. And friction kills momentum. Boy this was BIG. 𝟯. 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. I held on for so long because MYM (Magnetise Your Message) meant everything to me. The name. The website. The content. The brand. The identity. But the work? The SPINE method, the messaging, the implementation, the sessions? All of it is still here. It just lives somewhere better now. 𝟰. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗽.

Here’s the thing. And this is me just saying it totes out loud, not polishing it, not trying to make it sound clever, and all that jazzy stuff, just… saying it how it came out of my mouth. I started a Skool community (this one you are reading right now, say HELLO) called Mimi Ramsey Official, and yes, I made it PUBLIC, which some people think is a bit odd, and maybe it is, but also… it makes total sense to me, so here we are… → WHY I EVEN DID THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE (CONTEXT MATTERS) I used to be a BIG Facebook girl. Like, BIG BIG! Frank and I had a whole era. A whole relationship. A whole thing going on. But lately… meh. And I’ve been getting more and more obsessed with Skool, because COMMUNITY and SOCIALS are NOT the same thing, even though people act like they are, HELLO… Socials are great for reach and noise and eyeballs. Community is where CONVERSATIONS and CONNECTIONS actually happen. Different energy. Different intention. Different nervous system response (yes I said it). So I wanted a space where I could show up and put the stuff I’d normally put on socials, but inside a community container, where people can actually talk back, reply, wobble, connect, disagree, laugh, overshare slightly, all of it. This isn’t super niche-specific content. This is ME MIMI My thoughts. My life. My work. My weird brain tangents. Bali bits. Dog bits. Business bits. Human bits. Some things lead to other things, OBVS, but this isn’t a funnel factory. It’s a space. → THE PRACTICAL BIT (BECAUSE I’M STILL A BUSINESS HUMAN, DUH) I also learned that when a Skool community is public, anyone can view it. Read posts. See conversations. Lurk politely.
