🚨 Lesson 4: Move Like You’re Already Him
Bro, Can We Talk? Tonight's conversation was absolutely powerful and transformative, but it would not have happened without the participation of the entire group that showed up on the zoom meeting! That was DOPE! Thank you to everyone who showed up to add such incredible value to this lesson. Title: Walk It Like You Heard It’s Already Done 1. Intro (5 min) “You don’t become successful and then act like it. You act like it — then success chases you down.” Too many men are waiting for external validation before they walk in power. But confidence isn’t arrogance — it’s alignment. When your moves match your mission, you stop second-guessing and start building momentum. 2. Reality Check (10 min) Self-doubt isn’t humility. It’s hesitation. If nothing was missing, if there was no one to impress, if you had nothing left to prove…how would you move today? That’s the version of you your family needs. Your calling needs. You need. Real talk: most of us don’t need “more time.”We need to stop acting like we’re underqualified to be ourselves. Red Hot Takes: - If you still need applause to act — you’re not ready for leadership. - You’re not shy. You’re just scared to outgrow who people think you are. - Playing small isn’t noble. It’s selfish. Because people around you are suffocating while you downplay your calling. 3. The Shift (15 min) Stop waiting for permission. Stop moving like a man who needs confirmation. You already are him — you’re just not acting like it yet. Start making decisions like the version of you who: - Shows up early - Owns his voice - Finishes what he starts - Keeps promises to himself “The only gap between where you are and who you want to be is daily behavior.” 4. Framework: The 3M Identity Shift 1. Mirror it – Visualize the next-level version of yourself. What does he look like? Sound like? How does he lead, rest, speak, and handle pressure? 2. Mimic it – Begin to match his behavior in small, daily ways. Would he be binge-watching at 2AM or locking in on his vision? Would he ghost people or communicate with clarity?

"This is the final stop in the series — but the beginning of a new standard. You walk like you already won. You’re not becoming him. You ARE him. " I have been on a self-improvement misssion since April 1995 when I first read the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The first 3 habits have to do with yourself, the second three are interacting with other people. However, his book assumes that those people have also read the book and are committed to a win-win approach, first seeking to understand, then being understood, and finally synergizing. Once you have resolved your past issues, including those with your father or mother, and have defined who you are and who you want to be. You then face the biggest challenge of all. Other people who believe they are an authority in your life. Those who think they can see your future, can read your mind, feel your feelings, and divine your intentions. And tell YOU. Bro, can we talk? To me, THIS is the core issue for us. Can we respond? Can you speak your mind even when others don't want you to, and don't believe you when you do? Can you correct them even when they are convinced the lies they imagine about you are true? When challenged, can you be a courageous communicator and verbalize your core convictions? Tell people the truth about yourself. At the very least, start by in your mind refuting their lies, laughing at their mental and verbal incompetence, and reducing their credibility in your mind. Starting by preemptively saying (in your mind), "oh here comes that monkey again, what malarkey can I expect to hear from her today?".
“Redefining Wholeness: Embracing Our Authentic Selves”
Brothers, We’ve often been taught that wholeness means being unbroken, flawless, and complete. But what if true wholeness isn’t about perfection, but about authenticity? What if wholeness is about having the courage to show up—even when parts of us feel chipped, cracked, or incomplete? It’s about standing tall, not by hiding our flaws, but by embracing them as integral parts of our journey. Psychological perspectives affirm this understanding. Wholeness involves integrating all aspects of ourselves—mind, body, emotions, and relationships—accepting both our strengths and our limitations. It’s about acknowledging our past experiences, even the painful ones, and allowing them to inform our growth without defining our worth. Carl Jung emphasized the importance of embracing our “shadow”—the parts of ourselves we often suppress or deny. By acknowledging and integrating these aspects, we move towards a more complete and authentic self. This journey isn’t about presenting a polished facade; it’s about being relatable, vulnerable, and real. When we allow ourselves to be seen in our entirety, we not only free ourselves but also create space for others to do the same. So, let’s challenge the outdated notion that we must be “fixed” before we’re worthy. Let’s redefine wholeness as the bravery to be seen, the strength to be vulnerable, and the wisdom to know that our imperfections make us human. Together, let’s foster a community where authenticity is celebrated, and every man feels empowered to embrace his full self.

I agree. And it takes a tremendous amount of courage to express who you really are. We've been taught to conform to society's expectations of masculinity. Which is loosely defined as the speech and behavior that Beta males and gay males have. They conform. They're not confrontational, they're compromising. They accept the judgments of others and give great deference to women. If they dare speak up with a different point of view, they cease talking when rebuffed. For the most part, they are deaf AND mute. They don't hear what's really being said about them, they lies other people believe about themselves, and it's tomorrow when they finally think of a good response. How can you become, grow and remain your authentic self, if you allow yourself to be defined and verbally defeated by those who seek to make you into their version of a "better man"? Courage! It's what's necessary to speak from your own frame of reference, your standards, and your personal definition of masculinity at all times. Become and remain the Chief Justice in the Supreme Court of your own mind. There everyone else's judgments, including judgments of you, are ultimately judged by you.

@Damon Austin Nothing to do with lifestyle or sexual preferences, they just don't follow traditional male behavior patterns.

I want to be more engaged in both my son's lives, especially my youngest. I want to meet men and women in Kenya and become part of a community. Teach those who have no opportunity, a business that generates income. Mainly using AI tools on the internet and lift themselves and others out of poverty. Be significant Also complete more chapters my YouTube channel, Verbal Chessmaster, a decades-long dream of teaching people how to listen, understand and respond to bullshit...

Thank you. And thank you for creating this space. I was looking for something like this for a long time. I have friends in my Church mens group, but we don't share at a personal level.
