Bro, Can We Talk?
Tonight's conversation was absolutely powerful and transformative, but it would not have happened without the participation of the entire group that showed up on the zoom meeting! That was DOPE! Thank you to everyone who showed up to add such incredible value to this lesson.
Title: Walk It Like You Heard It’s Already Done
1. Intro (5 min)
“You don’t become successful and then act like it. You act like it — then success chases you down.”
Too many men are waiting for external validation before they walk in power. But confidence isn’t arrogance — it’s alignment. When your moves match your mission, you stop second-guessing and start building momentum.
2. Reality Check (10 min)
Self-doubt isn’t humility. It’s hesitation.
If nothing was missing, if there was no one to impress, if you had nothing left to prove…how would you move today?
That’s the version of you your family needs. Your calling needs. You need.
Real talk: most of us don’t need “more time.”We need to stop acting like we’re underqualified to be ourselves.
Red Hot Takes:
- If you still need applause to act — you’re not ready for leadership.
- You’re not shy. You’re just scared to outgrow who people think you are.
- Playing small isn’t noble. It’s selfish. Because people around you are suffocating while you downplay your calling.
3. The Shift (15 min)
Stop waiting for permission. Stop moving like a man who needs confirmation.
You already are him — you’re just not acting like it yet.
Start making decisions like the version of you who:
- Shows up early
- Owns his voice
- Finishes what he starts
- Keeps promises to himself
“The only gap between where you are and who you want to be is daily behavior.”
4. Framework: The 3M Identity Shift
1. Mirror it – Visualize the next-level version of yourself.
What does he look like? Sound like? How does he lead, rest, speak, and handle pressure?
2. Mimic it – Begin to match his behavior in small, daily ways.
Would he be binge-watching at 2AM or locking in on his vision? Would he ghost people or communicate with clarity?
3. Move as him – Don’t wait until it’s perfect.
Move today like he already exists — because he does. He’s just waiting on your discipline to unlock him.
5. Hot Seat Prompt (5 min):
“If the next-level you was watching you right now — would he be proud… or pissed?”Drop it raw. Don’t sugarcoat. What would he tell you to change immediately?
6. Action Assignment (5 min):
Part 1: Record a 60-second voice note as your future self.
- Speak with power.
- Affirm who you became.
- Speak to your present self from your winning future.
Play it every morning for 7 days.
Part 2: Make one bold move this week:
- A pitch you’ve been sitting on
- A conversation you’ve been avoiding
- An investment you’ve been scared to make
- An application, a booking, a bet on yourself
Do something that scares your current self — but honors your future one.
7. Close (5 min)
"You don’t need more time. You need to move like time is running out."
This is the final stop in the series — but the beginning of a new standard.
You’ve burned the old blueprint. You’ve reclaimed your mind. You chose your fight. Now? You walk like you already won.
You’re not becoming him.
You ARE him — just unpracticed.
Final Discussion Questions (for the group):
- What decision have you been avoiding that your future self is already disappointed you haven’t made?
- What part of your identity are you clinging to that needs to be retired — tonight?
- If you truly believed it was already done… how would you move tomorrow morning?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson
