Connecting in real life
Wondering if anyone is from Liverpool or near and would like to connect IRL, wanting to hang around with like minded people! Feel like who you surround yourself by is really important. Also if anyone is up for role play calls would be great! (Give me a little while to get a better understanding of the role first though!,complete beginner would love to hear other people’s journeys!)

What mistake taught you the most in sales?
What mistake in your career taught you the most valuable lesson? đŸ€”

@Maury Kosh Ah yes, the good ol’ pitch slap. Works every time
if your goal is to never hear from them again. 😆

@Matheus Kastro no prob! Clear, meaningful, and mutually agreed upon next steps is the glue that holds the whole deal together.
Looking for people!! Doesnt matter the skill level
Hey guys I am manos and i run my own ai agency. I scaled it by myself to 15k/m and now I am looking to grow. I am looking for people that can do cold calls and meetings. I am willing to give a comission of up to 35%. Even if you just begun with your journey as an entrepreneur join my team and you will learn a LOT. (also the money is good lol). If you are good with software you are also welcome!!

@Emmanouil Papadakis Congrats, huge props on scaling to 15K/month solo 👏 Curious what your AI agency focuses on? SaaS, lead gen, ops automation? Sounds like there’s a solid opportunity here.

@Carson Clay click on the “Role Play/Accountability” tab. There’s a TON of people in this community looking to role play.
How do you handle vague prospects?
What kind of strategy do you use to get a vague prospect to open up?

@Matheus Kastro Great question. Just to clarify, are you talking about vague prospects on a cold call or during a discovery meeting? If you're dealing with vague prospects on a cold call, here's a key principle to remember: It's your fault you're getting vague answers. If they're giving you vague answers, it’s usually a sign you’re asking shitty questions, your tonality is off, or you haven’t properly framed the question to guide their response. Here’s how to fix it: 1. Take accountability. Stop blaming the prospect. Ask yourself: Did I earn enough trust in the first 10 seconds? Am I asking “What keeps you up at night?”-type fluff that nobody knows how to answer? Am I low energy or hesitant in my delivery? 2. Learn how to “frame” your questions. Don’t just ask, guide. For example: Don't ask: “What are your biggest challenges?” Do ask: “From what I’ve seen with other [role/industry] leaders, they’re usually juggling things like XYZ. Are you running into any of that?” Framing makes it easier for them to latch onto something real and respond with specifics. It also shows you understand their world, which builds trust fast. 3. Add clarity, not pressure. Sometimes vague answers come from confusion or feeling put on the spot. Make your calls feel more like conversations, not interrogations.

@Matheus Kastro glad it helped! During discovery the question flow is: what are they doing now, what problems/bottlenecks are they running, what are their goals, are they willing to resolve those/challenges and achieve their goals? If so, move into the pitch 😉
