My first giveaway I’m so excited. I love mahogany guitar and the way they sound.
Favorite guitar
What’s one guitar that you’ll never get rid of. For me it’s all of them lol I’m not the buy sell trade type I buy for specific reasons and they all mean something different to me but the tele is by far my favorite one I’ve ever bought.

@Doug DeLuca I love guitars with meaningful backstories the blue one in the picture was the first one I ever bought for myself for like 200 and it’s beat up and scratch but still plays beautifully and I’ll never get rid of it
Best Pedals You've Bought
Here are some of my favorite pedals. - Polytune3 tuner - hands down the best tuner I've ever used, - Black Mountain volume wheel - better than volume pedals, IMO. - IK Multimedia XDrive, X-Vibe, X-Space-, X-Time pedals - everything you need and more in four pedals. - Singular Sound Beat Buddy with the add on footswitch - hands down the best drum beats pedal (I've bought and tried quite a few). What are your favorite pedals?

I’ve had quite a few pedal boards and so far my Main three are the strymon big sky and the time line and walrus audios 385 mkll dual overdrive The big sky has so many different options when I comes to reverbs I love that I can customize just about anything and make it unique for every situation or as basic as I want The time line offers a bunch of different delay types and I love throw it on to add more character and depth to my tone and the 385 mkll give me a nice clean some a touch of dirt tone to play rhythm and then I can kick in the second overdrive for lead style playing.

@Billy T Scrapper I love my strymon pedals. I was back and forth on the time line or the DD20 but I knew I wanted the big sky so I went with the time line to keep learning how to use the pedals simple since there similar in operation
How you learn?
Im wondering how did everybody learn to play? Did you have an actual teacher? Teach yourself? Do you learn by watching? Do you learn by tab? Me personally, my Stepdad taught me the major chords, and I watched him play some songs then I kinda just used tab and now use youtube lessons. Ive been playing 20 years or so, and can learn pretty much anything. But I know S**t about theory, scales modes ect. Haha

Started with the basic poster with the chords. Then I learned from YouTube and just watching people’s hands playing lead stuff. Tabs were hard for me unless I sat down and really focused. I just started trying to learn songs by ear and it’s been challenging but really fun.
New Build
This time, with my 15 year old son. I gave him his bass for Christmas and he loves it so much that he wants to do another project with me. I’m beaming with joy! We will be recreating a Gibson LP in Blueberry Burst, like the one pictured. The kit is coming in about 3 weeks. I never thought that instead of losing my kid to young adulthood for the next 3-4 years, (you know, ‘dad doesn’t know anything’) that he’d want to spend time with me building a guitar together. I swear I must be the luckiest man in the world.

That’s amazing I can’t wait to share the love of music and guitars with my son. He just turned one and every time I get my guitars out he is like a moth to the flame and it makes me excited for when he’s older
