The Power of Presence 🌿
Theme of the week in my Inner Circle Community: Presence We often think healing means fixing, solving, or knowing exactly what to do next. But more often than not, the deepest shifts happen when we simply choose to be with ourselves. Not with more advice. Not with more pressure. But with presence. - Presence is listening to your body when it’s tired instead of pushing through. - Presence is being with an emotion, without rushing to change it. - Presence is sitting beside your own pain with softness, not judgment. "Presence is the greatest way i can love myself"- New member shared. It tells ourselves: “I won’t abandon you when you feel messy, lost, or unsure.” And when we practice presence with ourselves, with others, something sacred happens: The nervous system softens. The story quiets. And space opens for healing to begin. Let this be your reminder to all us: You don’t need to have all the answers, you just need to BE with yourself.

Thank you Daniel for the reminder to just be present and to sit without judgement. It took me years to learn that I don’t need to be in “motion without meaning”. Slowly, I learned how to become a human “being” instead of a human “doer”. I still work at just being present and just observing my emotions and where they feel stuck in my body.

New Video + Worksheet: Moving in Alignment for Better Sleep 🌙
Hey Everyone! I just released a new video inside the group: “Moving In Alignment for Sleep.” So many people think movement is just about doing more to tire the body out—but for deep, restorative sleep, it’s about moving in a way that’s actually aligned with where your body is at right now. In this video, we cover: ✨ Why pushing too hard can keep your nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight ✨ How to listen to your body’s signals and choose the right type of movement ✨ Simple ways to use movement to calm the body instead of overstimulate it To help you put this into practice, there’s also a downloadable worksheet to help you reflect, track, and find the type of movement that truly supports your sleep. Here's the LINK or check it out in the classroom section under "Biological" Let me know what you think, I’d love to hear what you discover 🌿

@Laurie Stark The trampoline is an outdoor one. May get a rebounder for the winter. The pool sounds lovely.
Life Lessons
I often like to go back to some of the "basic" life lessons (or principles) that I try to live by. I wanted to share a few of those with this group today... 1. Survival mode is supposed to be a phase that helps save your life. It is not meant to be how you live. (especially poignant in this sleep group🙌👍) 2. You are not lazy, unmotivated, or stuck. After years of living in survival mode, you are exhausted. There's a difference. 3. The habits you create to survive will no longer serve you when it's time to thrive. Get out of survival mode. New habits. New life. (these come from "tinybuddhaofficial" check it out 💫 One last thought from the Buddhism principles.... Don't cry over the past, it's gone. Don't stress about the future, it hasn't arrived. Live in the present and make it beautiful 🌿💜🌹🙌

For the Moments That Feel Hopeless 💙
Sometimes, despite all the tools, the work, the progress we hit a moment where it just… feels like too much. Like nothing is changing. Like maybe healing isn’t for us. I know my version of these moments well. Years of trying to do everything I can to support my body and mind with no reprieve. If you’re there right now, I want to say this: You’re not doing anything wrong. These moments don’t mean you’ve failed. I believe they are part of the process, especially when we are healing something deep. Hopelessness is heavy. But what's so interesting is it often shows up right before something softens, , right before the part of you that’s been holding on finally lets go. In those moments, the most powerful thing you can do is stay with yourself. Soften. Surrender. Not to fix anything, but to remind that hurting part of you: I’m here. I’m not leaving. 🌿 You don’t need to be perfect. 🌿 You don’t need to “get it together.” 🌿 You just need to be met with compassion by yourself, or by someone who sees you. If you’re in a hard spot right now we see you. If you are open to it, share what you do in your moments of hopelessness?

@Brooks Vanholt I totally get it. Just when I think I’m in a rhythm; I’ll have one of those “racing mind” nights. I just say “thank you mind” but, there’s nothing I can do about it at this moment. We can work on this tomorrow. It usually gives my mind a break and I go back to sleep. My SIL is a Neuropsychologist and has been helping me with REBT.

Living A Full Life in Joy
Here are three simple, yet profound tools to live our lives fully, in joy and happiness and fulfillment... 1. Choose Pleasure Without Permission Drop the need to earn it. Drop the guilt. Just for today, choose what feels good to your body, your breath, your being - whether it’s a quiet moment in the sun, a belly laugh, or saying “no” without explanation. Joy isn’t something you achieve through effort. It’s something you allow through presence. Let yourself have it, without delay or justification, from a space of Divine Love. 2. Speak as the I AM - Out Loud Let your voice become a tuning fork for your joy. Declare something beautiful as truth - not as a wish, but as a knowing: “I AM joy embodied.” “I AM the light of my own life.” “I AM free to thrive.” Say it, feel it, be it 🙏🙌 3. Witness Without Fixing - Be The Observer Give yourself the sacred gift of your own compassionate attention. Watch your thoughts, emotions, and body - not to judge or fix - but to witness. Let life flow through you, even the hard parts, without story or interference. This creates an energetic spaciousness where joy naturally rises, not forced, not faked, but rather uncovered, like sunlight through clouds. Special thanks here to someone who I have followed for years, Jarrad Hewett @jarradhewett 💫🫶 In Light, Love and Peace, Ron~
