Just trying to gauge how many minutes I should deliver for each wedding film? What does the average film look like for y’all for an elopement? Vs a whole wedding day? Or maybe even vs a wedding day of a couple who is a little camera-shy??? Would love y’all’s thoughts!

Who is can't live without their gimbal? Who refuses anything but handheld? Tripods or Tri-don'ts? "tHeRe'S a PuRpOsE fOr EvErYtHiNg" yea, yea, yea, but what's your preferred way to shoot a wedding? My primary camera does not have IBIS, so I've only ever used it on a gimbal, but I'm falling more in love with the handheld look. Been thinking about making the switch and how I can practice a "steadier" hand.

Just finished a crazy wedding to kick off the second half of 2025 (if we’re not counting all the random weddings we had over the summer that we didn’t account for haha). Anyone got anything they’re excited for in the latter half of this year? Anything you’re working on to help you get prepped for 2026?

I started shooting as part of my high school’s journalism program, because we needed to submit a photo with our articles. I graduated to portraits and now I’m tryin to do the damn wedding thang. My background is in corporate marketing. I recently worked in the biotech space but was unfortunately laid off a few months ago as my company lost funding.
