Gearing up for 2025 pt 2
Just finished a crazy wedding to kick off the second half of 2025 (if we’re not counting all the random weddings we had over the summer that we didn’t account for haha). Anyone got anything they’re excited for in the latter half of this year? Anything you’re working on to help you get prepped for 2026?

- My name is Trâm and this GIF sums me up - I’m based in Arizona. Born in Texas, grew up in Wisconsin. My only explanation for the moving is that my parents didn’t gaf after escaping Vietnam lmao - I heard this is now open to photogs? 👀 I’ve been shooting 10 years but jumped into weddings the last year or so. I started shooting as part of my high school’s journalism program, because we needed to submit a photo with our articles. I graduated to portraits and now I’m tryin to do the damn wedding thang. My background is in corporate marketing. I recently worked in the biotech space but was unfortunately laid off a few months ago as my company lost funding. Using this time to pump gas into my photography business. - I’m excited to have three solo weddings to close out the year and am hoping to book some more destination ones next year 🤞🏼 Bonus: I’m equally excited to meet people in the industry that are funny and bring good vibes Truthfully, I’ve also always wanted to crash a real wedding

Congrats! Those ten years are going to come in handy on a technical level, I promise you; now we just need to lock in networking and biz for you and you’ll blow us all away 👌🏽

Wsup yall Im Steven, video at Justine Grace Photo Film otherwise known as Steven.film on IG. Based out of Arizona but travel literally anywhere. I’ve been filming for…I think I’m at the 1.5 year mark now so I’m still hungry to learn and be as great as I can be. I’m currently phasing from adobe premiere into davinci this summer and doing some heavy education on music theory and sound design. Hoping to be able to really hone down on emphasizing emotion. Uhh. Yeah that’s me in a nut shell. I’m super chill so don’t be afraid to reach out and chat. 🥡

@Rylee Rohner I did it during down season and basically dumped most of my weddings from the year before into DaVinci and re edited all of them, forcing myself to re learn all the basic tools. I still am constantly learning, but forcing myself to just slog through edits over and over helped me to etch it into my brain

Social Media Posts
How do you find consistency in social media posting without content fatigue?? The obvious answer is “just do it” but you have to your audience in mind. I have the most trouble even though we could easily choose clips. But I only want bangers. Help.

I would personally start by choosing your content pillars. My hubby and I do this professionally for other biz pros, so this is sort of our area of expertise. If you know your target audience, you just need 3 things to constantly post about that will attract them. 1. What they’re booking you for 2. How you solve their problem differently from everyone else and 3. Something unique and somewhat personal to you that they gravitate towards. Personality sells, so even if posting on the feed is hard for you, post on your story at least once a day if you can. Our content pillars are, for example 1. Couples book us for edgy, candid, and nontraditional vibes 2. We solve their problem because we’re artsy and story forward and they’re worried about finding someone who will make them feel comfy 3. We’re huge nerds, so we constantly post about nerdy topics, nerdy weddings, our nerdy home decor, use nerdy references, etc. It helps you to know what to post if you have your things that people know you for and you’re speaking to the audience that needs you.
