Frame rate mindset
What frame rate is everyone shooting? Are you switching throughout the day for certain moments or are you sticking to 60fps all day for flexibility in post? What’s your thinking behind it? Do you prefer that natural motion blur at 24fps or do your clients not even notice.

FOLLOWING THIS^ I’ve been shoooting in 60 for most everything til recently I moved to 24 to get that motion blur but it doesn’t cripple me in post if I want to slow things down. I’m currently just deciding what kind of video I want to film on each project and if it’s cinematic, going 24 but if i have something else in mind, I’ll go 60

- My name is Trâm and this GIF sums me up - I’m based in Arizona. Born in Texas, grew up in Wisconsin. My only explanation for the moving is that my parents didn’t gaf after escaping Vietnam lmao - I heard this is now open to photogs? 👀 I’ve been shooting 10 years but jumped into weddings the last year or so. I started shooting as part of my high school’s journalism program, because we needed to submit a photo with our articles. I graduated to portraits and now I’m tryin to do the damn wedding thang. My background is in corporate marketing. I recently worked in the biotech space but was unfortunately laid off a few months ago as my company lost funding. Using this time to pump gas into my photography business. - I’m excited to have three solo weddings to close out the year and am hoping to book some more destination ones next year 🤞🏼 Bonus: I’m equally excited to meet people in the industry that are funny and bring good vibes Truthfully, I’ve also always wanted to crash a real wedding

I’m sorry you got laid off—maybe it’s a sign that this is where your true calling is!!! Put those marketing skills to work! You got this! 🚀
Social Media Posts
How do you find consistency in social media posting without content fatigue?? The obvious answer is “just do it” but you have to your audience in mind. I have the most trouble even though we could easily choose clips. But I only want bangers. Help.

I’m no expert at this but I’ve run a few social accounts in my day and what is the most helpful is having dedicated content days then saving a months worth of content into a file on your phone or drafts! The other thing that’s been helpful is using Instagram as a more fine-tuned account then just being silly and fun and more casual about posting on TikTok!
Gearing up for 2025 pt 2
Just finished a crazy wedding to kick off the second half of 2025 (if we’re not counting all the random weddings we had over the summer that we didn’t account for haha). Anyone got anything they’re excited for in the latter half of this year? Anything you’re working on to help you get prepped for 2026?
