Frame rate mindset
What frame rate is everyone shooting? Are you switching throughout the day for certain moments or are you sticking to 60fps all day for flexibility in post? What’s your thinking behind it? Do you prefer that natural motion blur at 24fps or do your clients not even notice.

I used to shoot everything in 60, then made the jump to 24. Then I soley shot in 24 and NEVER shot in 60. Lately, I've been finding myself incorporating 60 again. Like @Rylee Rohner , once I began visualizing the end product and knowing how I wanted to edit, I shot more intentional. ANY speeches or dialog then had to be 24 and even some for "lively" bridals I kept it that way, but when intentional, 60/120 can truly impact a scene. I also have a button similar to @Jared Murray where I can make that jump back and forth with ease. Knowing what your final vision and camera operation is crucial.

@Jared Murray What are some tricks to make 60 "look" closer to 24? I've been wanting to experiment with this, but when I try, it doesn't even look close. I know it'll never be perfect, but I can't be the 1st one to try and figure this out.
To gimbal or not to gimbal
Who is can't live without their gimbal? Who refuses anything but handheld? Tripods or Tri-don'ts? "tHeRe'S a PuRpOsE fOr EvErYtHiNg" yea, yea, yea, but what's your preferred way to shoot a wedding? My primary camera does not have IBIS, so I've only ever used it on a gimbal, but I'm falling more in love with the handheld look. Been thinking about making the switch and how I can practice a "steadier" hand.

@Jackilyn Lund "Weak ahhh arms" had me dying šŸ˜‚ I've been dabbling with my Monopod. They're great for quick testimonials at receptions. I've used mine a lot for "street style" interviews at conferences. The only thing that draws me back for weddings is getting lower or more creative angles.

@Steven Phay Interesting. I've never thought much of actually rigging a camera for balance except for when on a tripod for more fluid motion. Do you primarily shoot with one lens? If you jumped to, let's say, a long 70-200 vs a prime, do you rebalance mid shoot? I'd love to see a picture of your rig sometime and maybe get some advice on my handheld rig
Hello!
Hi everyone! My name is Dave and I am based in the Bay Area, California. I’ve been filming for 7 years now and I’ve been working on refining my style of creating films and my brand itself. It has truly been a fun journey changing things up and excited to meet other filmmakers! Also just booked a very intimate wedding out in Hawaii so super excited to be able to film that soon!

Late to the responses, but I'm finally back! I already connected with the team about the announcement, but I've been slammed and haven't made it here yet. Thank you all! I'm pumped! TREMENDOUSLY thankful for this opportunity! Feels so surreal that I get to be a part of this! Remember, don't hate the player. Hate the game 🤘
Social Media Posts
How do you find consistency in social media posting without content fatigue?? The obvious answer is ā€œjust do itā€ but you have to your audience in mind. I have the most trouble even though we could easily choose clips. But I only want bangers. Help.

I've been crippled from only wanting to put out the best of what I have. I wanted my page to have a certain look to it and didn't want anyone to see my "not-so-great" videos. Then I heard an analogy about Drake. Weather he's your cup of tea or not, there's no question his name is known all over the world. Drake has just shy of 50 Top #1 songs on the chart, but what most people don't know is that he currently has 400-500 songs released. Not every song is a banger, but he still sells out arenas.
