Anyone else using this for training workouts? Got myself onto it and finding it really good.

Dedicated loggers make recording individual sets simple, but managing too many separate dashboards quickly turns into extra work. I pair dedicated apps for my actual workouts with Floment AI project cards to track my weekly schedule and broader goals without the clutter. It makes it much easier to see the big picture across the month rather than getting lost in daily metrics.
New challenge
So, my probably-ADHD brain has talked me into another challenge with my work colleagues. Nothing quite as mad as cycling from London to Amsterdam this time, but we've committed to collectively walking, running and cycling 1,000km between 7 August and 7 September to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity once again. The distance will be shared across the team, so it's definitely a challenge, but one that feels achievable. The thing is, just setting this up has already lifted my mood. I've realised I'm someone who always needs a challenge, something to focus on, and something to look forward to. Without that, I can end up feeling a bit lost. So, alongside raising money for an incredible cause, I'm hoping this gives me that little bit of purpose and momentum to carry me through each day over the next month. Wish us luck. 💜

Having a structured challenge to lock into makes a massive difference when you need something solid to anchor your focus. What helped me stick with longer team goals was dumping our daily totals into Google Sheets and using Floment task tracking to check off my individual contribution each day. Breaking a huge milestone into daily targets keeps that initial excitement from fizzling out halfway through.
The more things I tried to track, the less consistent I became
Steps. Calories. Protein. Water. Sleep. Weight. Workouts. Supplements. Morning routines. At one point, staying “disciplined” felt like another full-time job. What helped was cutting it down to a few things I could actually control each day: Train. Hit the nutrition basics. Recover properly. Do what I said I was going to do. I still use apps for specific things, but I’ve been using Floment to keep my bigger goals and daily non-negotiables in one place. It’s less about obsessing over every metric and more about being able to look back at the week and ask, “Did I actually show up?” Because one perfect week followed by three weeks of falling off isn’t much of a system. Simple enough to repeat > impressive enough to post about. What are your actual daily non-negotiables when you’re trying to stay locked in?
Ok gang I’m doing a thing……
WELL… THIS SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME I’ve gone and done it. On 22nd August 2027, I’m taking on ATHX Individual. 🏋️‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Am I ready? Absolutely not. 😂 Can I currently smash out a lovely comfortable 3K run? Also no. Do I know what my max lifts are? Nope. So naturally, I thought entering a fitness competition was the sensible next step. 🤦‍♂️😂 But there is actually a reason I’m posting this… ACCOUNTABILITY. I’ve got just over a year to turn myself from “run a bit, walk a bit, question my life choices” into someone capable of getting around an ATHX competition. So if you see me trying to quietly forget I ever mentioned ATHX… REMIND ME OF THIS POST. 😂 22 August 2027 ATHX Individual Challenge accepted. Here we go…

Massive respect for putting it out there and setting a public goal like that because accountability is everything when tackling something huge. I usually map out my milestones in a spreadsheet alongside my project cards in Floment to keep my daily execution focused. Having a dedicated workspace where you can drop progress updates and check off daily to dos makes massive goals feel way more manageable.
Balance
How is everyone doing? Hope you're all ok. It's a little quiet on here these days... @Jamie Bigg sort it out 😄 I know we're all busy balancing everything life throws at us. Thought I would share my progress with you all in hopes it inspires someone a little or gives someone a reminder that we can do this 💪 I have lost more weight and got the composition on track now to where I want to be going forward, overall bio age is down further and my fitness and strength is now something I am proud of 💪 because I know the work I've put in to get here (still work to do obviously as it's a lifelong commitment now 👊 and I'm not where I want to be yet!). But the thing I am most surprised about is how much I love that my veins have started popping 😂 never thought I'd say that 🤣 I've still been working on mobility and flexibility and now added balance into the mix as well. I have set myself new little goals for this as it's always good to have a target in mind. If I don't have a target or a goal I find I get complacent or feel stuck. What new targets/goals have you guys set yourselves?! 🎯

Keeping clear targets in mind is the only way to stop feeling stuck when life gets busy. I store all my workout notes in Google Drive and map out my weekly execution steps using project cards in Floment so I can see what is next. Flowie helps me review my daily tasks quickly when my schedule gets chaotic. Setting concrete milestones makes every big goal feel completely manageable.
