🖤 NEW: Marco Polo Group Alright, we’re adding something new to the Hub… and I’m really excited about this one. 📱 WHAT IS MARCO POLO? Marco Polo is a video messaging app. Think: 👉 texting… but with video 👉 voice notes… but you can see each other 👉 not live, so no pressure to respond instantly You can open it when you have time, listen, respond, and stay connected without needing to schedule anything. 🧠 WHY WE’RE USING IT Because this work isn’t just about learning…it’s about working through things in real time Inside the Hub, you’re: - learning patterns - building awareness - practicing pause + choice Marco Polo gives you a place to: 👉 talk things out as they’re happening 👉 process instead of bottling it up 👉 be seen and heard by people who get it This is where the community becomes real. 🪞 WHAT THIS SPACE IS FOR Use it when: - you’re in something and need to talk it through - you’re noticing a pattern in real time - you want support without spiraling - you want to share a win or realization This is not about being perfect.This is about being honest. ⚙️ HOW TO USE IT Simple: 1. Download the Marco Polo app 2. Join the group (link will be provided 👇) 3. Hit record and talk (it's live as your record but you can delete the polo and start over. ) You can: - share what’s going on - respond to someone else - just listen if that’s where you’re at No pressure to be “on.”No pressure to respond immediately. 😅 REAL TALK: IT MIGHT FEEL AWKWARD AT FIRST Totally normal. You might: - feel weird talking to your phone - not know what to say - Not like how you look - overthink it That passes. Promise! 🟣 THURSDAY — Vocabulary: Dysregulation (APRIL 9)
WORD: Dysregulation PLAIN DEFINITION: Dysregulation is when your nervous system is activated and hasn’t settled yet. Your body is still in the stress response.The alarm is on. WHY IT MATTERS THIS WEEK Most people try to solve problems while they’re dysregulated. But when your system is activated: - everything feels urgent - your reactions feel justified - your options feel limited You’re not choosing. You’re just responding from the alarm. REAL-LIFE EXAMPLE You’re in a conversation and something shifts. Suddenly: - your tone changes - you feel pressure to explain or defend - your thoughts speed up You feel like you need to respond right now. That urgency? That’s dysregulation. REFLECTION QUESTION How do you know you’re dysregulated before you react? What are your early signals? AWARENESS BUILDS CAPACITY.
