THIS WEEK’S FOCUS- May 25
Pressure Choice vs. Clean Choice *Watch this week's video lesson in the Weekly Becoming Archive! This week we’re closing out May’s theme of Choice by looking at the difference between a pressure choice and a clean choice. Because a lot of people think: “I always make the wrong decision.” “I can’t trust myself.” “I need someone else to tell me what to do.” “What if I choose wrong?” “What if everything falls apart?” But sometimes the issue is not that you can’t trust yourself. Sometimes the issue is that you were never really choosing from yourself. You were choosing from pressure. Pressure can sound like: “I need to decide right now.” “I have to fix this.” “I need them to understand.” “I can’t let them be upset.” “I already messed up, so what’s the point?” “I just need this feeling to stop.” A pressure choice usually comes from: fear guilt shame urgency people-pleasing wanting reassurance wanting relief wanting the discomfort to stop A clean choice is different. A clean choice does not always feel easy. It does not always feel calm. It does not always make everyone happy. But it feels more honest. It feels more aligned. It feels like something you can stand beside after the pressure settles. So this week, we’re practicing noticing: Am I choosing from alignment…or am I choosing because pressure got loud? Not to shame ourselves. Not to overthink every decision. Not to make perfect choices. Just to create enough space to make cleaner ones. This week inside the Hub: Monday: Weekly BecomingPressure Choice vs. Clean Choice Tuesday: PromptWhen are you choosing from pressure? Wednesday: Nutrition / Food RelationshipPressure choices with food Thursday: VocabularyDiscernment Hub Club Support Group at 6 PM CST Friday: MovementStability Before Speed Sunday: Coming Home WorkshopThe Decision Filter6 PM CST This week’s practice: Pause before the pressure chooses for you. Ask: What is actually driving this choice? That question changes a lot. 🖤

Looking ahead to this week in the Hub...
🖤 THIS WEEK IN THE BECOMING HUB May 25–31, 2026 This week we’re continuing our May theme: Choice And we’re focusing on: Pressured Choice vs. Clean Choice Because a lot of us don’t actually make “bad decisions.” We make decisions from pressure. Pressure can sound like: “I need to decide right now.” “I have to fix this.” “I need them to understand.” “I can’t let them be upset.” “I already messed up, so what’s the point?” “I just need this feeling to stop.” And then later, when the decision doesn’t feel good, we tell ourselves: “I can’t trust myself.” But maybe the issue isn’t that you can’t trust yourself. Maybe the issue is that you weren’t making a clean choice. You were choosing from fear, guilt, urgency, shame, people-pleasing, or the need for relief. So this week we’re slowing that down. We’re looking at the difference between: a pressured choice and a clean choice Not a perfect choice. Not an easy choice. Not a choice that makes everyone happy. A clean choice is the one that still feels honest after you slow down. This week’s rhythm: MONDAY- Weekly Becoming: Pressured Choice vs. Clean Choice TUESDAY- Prompt: "When are you choosing from pressure?" WEDNESDAY- Macros/Nutrition: Pressured choices with food THURSDAY- Vocabulary: Discernment - Hub Club Support Group at 6 PM CST via Zoom FRIDAY- Movement: Stability Before Speed SUNDAY: MAY Coming Home Workshop: The Decision Filter | 6 PM CST This week is about learning to ask: “Am I choosing from alignment… or am I choosing because pressure got loud?” Awareness creates space. Space creates choice. Choice builds self-trust. 🖤
