Surprise surprise the village idiot needs help again
I know these pictures aren't that great, but they look like little white balls. If you've ever seen wedding soup , the little balls that's in there that's kind of what it looks like , my first thought was cocoons , but I thought cocoons were yellow , baby , this is an early stage i never put anything in there that would even closely resemble this , which is why i'm unsure any help would be appreciated.I'm not getting notifications from this app.For some reason , but I'll check it once a day

Worm wrangling fun.
I've a great last 24 hours for my worm wrangling adventures. 1) Got my 1st bag of coffee grounds from Starbucks(they loved giving them away almost as much as I loved getting them) 2) Had a great conversation with Scott @ Hungry Worms, he is TOP NOTCH resource and more than willing to help with any problem or just talk worms. 3) Built a prototype custom worm bin that I will expand into a much larger bin and do a horizontal feeding method(cost was $20 in lumber all other materials were on hand). 4) Finally got to a Lowes and bought some mortar bins, I've been jealous of everyone that has em 🤣 5) Got a 2nd A/C unit installed into my wormery 6) Found out that Daylily blooms are a great food source for worms, I literally have thousands. They can be dehydrated and ground up for easy storage.

Dude, you are a unit.I'm enjoying watching your progress.I'm so brand new at this.I'm gonna do the Starbucks thing.Do you know how to use them?I just know that you can
Okay am I doing something wrong?
As you guys may know I started my worm bin a little over a week ago , the past two days , when I opened the lid to look at them , they are all on the sides and not inside of the soil , which is coco id say about 10 of them atleast close to the holes i made for air flow since then, being in there, I have given them a bag of cabbage that they ate most of about 90% and about 3 days ago I put in an avocado that was not quite spoiled yet. I cut it in half removed the pit and put it inside. The Coco has stayed Moist, like a rung out sponge.Am I doing something wrong?Or are they just crawling on the sides?Because they can , it almost looks like they're trying to get out and if they get out , my wife will murder me any help thank you 😊 🙏

@Kevin Griffin thank you for that that actually didn't cross my mind. And I'm now worried about cross-contamination.So for good measure, I will switch out all of my gear before I go-between my plan for the worm.Bins is to have four 27gal totes , I don't know that I particularly care if they mix or not because I do plan on having 2 for fishing european nightcrawlers that I will use for fishing and then have another 2 that I'm using for compost. But ultimately , I will be using the bedding in both of them for my vegetable and fruit garden 😋 i'm very new to this so if there is something wrong with this I would appreciate any help , I'll take it all
Water for precomposting
I made a batch of Pre compost over weekend using tap water I suspect this is why my pile is not heating up due to the chlorine in the water my question is how to declorinated the water before attempting a new batch of Pre compost

What is worm chow?
Worm chow is just dry ingredients you can feed to your worms to fatten them up or for supplementing nutrients to make sure they are being fed well! If you just want to fatten them up short term for fishing you don’t have to get too fancy with it, but if you are caring about the quality of your castings it can be beneficial! I get asked a lot, so here is a link to my worm chow guide and recipe if you are interested! I also sell it on my website if you don’t want to make it yourself. https://cherenesgreens.com/collections/worm-products/products/my-worm-chow-recipe-guide
