Have You Seen This?
I treat what I call the "I have failed everything patient." I tell people once you start learning how to properly diagnose these conditions and have protocols to treat them effectively, you will have a level of job satisfaction that you never thought possible. People ask me "Ryan, don't you want to work with athletes?" No, I don't I have worked in the NFL and all kinds of pros with my methods being used in pro sports and I would rather work with patients like this. This patient told me "I am in so much pain for so long and no one takes its seriously" she was sobbing, (very typical people cry in my clinic when someone finally understands what was wrong and get them out of pain!) My favorite part about this job is in the final video, she smiles! Watch all 3 videos. I documented her beginning, 4 weeks and final discharge appt. I show you how I helped her! Have you taken patients that are totally deblilitated like this to complete recovery? Comment below I want to hear!

Great example and nice seeing the progress. I have a few patients presenting similarly right now. I find one of the more difficult hurdles is for the patient to fully commit to the treatment/exercise plan and being patient. Several are too interested in the "quick" fix and are easily frustrated with building the foundation and slow progression.

@Ryan Whelton that's a really good point. It does feel at times that you end up being more invested than the patient. Especially with these SI/Pelvis dysfunctions... frustrating!
