Direct modeling workflow
Do any of you get to a point in a project or tutorial when using Plasticity and it's direct modeling method where it just seems like it would be a more efficient use of time to just start over versus trying to make adjustments or fix issues when you're a good ways into something? Don't get me wrong, I love Plasticity and the simplicity it brings to certain types of shapes and forms that would be painful with CAD specific modeling like in Freecad or poly modeling like in Blender. But there are also times where I just think it's more work to rework major changes. Keeping an organized curve folder like Nakita teaches for sure helps. You can delete sheets and faces and use them to rebuild in a lot of instances. But I find sometimes to when I've used imprint to create curves based on the sheets that were originally there and now they aren't going to line up properly with the new shape changes, etc... One thing I have learned so far and for multiple reasons is to build things in pieces (components) so that they aren't directly linked but you can delete out the bridging structure if need be and reconstruct that bridge. It's still a bit of work and still in some smaller projects I find it faster to just restart. But I've saved myself a couple of times that way. But it also lines you up for better material assignment later on when you're creating show pieces of your work.

For larger projects , you definetly need to have clean groups of curves/sketches or copies of solids/sheet if you mess things up. For more organic stuff , having SubD in Plasticity would be a game changer. Currently working with Rhino and Plasticity to get the best from both. I recently watched videos from cademy xyz, the way they organize their stuff is cool, might be using that method too.
Plasticity Feature Request
Hello everyone, Iโ€™ve been in contact with the developers of Plasticity. If you have suggestions for new features, you can share them here or vote on existing posts, https://plasticity.canny.io/feature-requests. The more votes a suggestion gets, the more likely it is to be implemented. I would like to see SubD coming to P.
