Do you have to have your website setup to get A2p approved? Right now all I have is the EIN # I plan on getting my website setup asap I'm just really bad with that stuff
@Dominic Pedersen A2P just means Application-to-Person messaging, basically when a business or platform (like a CRM, SMS tool, or dialer) sends texts to people, Carriers (like AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) now require businesses to register their brand and campaigns if they want their texts to actually get delivered instead of blocked or flagged as spam. So, if you plan to use SMS for real estate, lead gen, or marketing, A2P approval makes sure: - Your texts actually go through - Your numbers don’t get flagged or shut down - You stay compliant with TCPA and carrier rules
@Dudley Delong congrats on getting A2P approved Before you start blasting: - Warm up your numbers → don’t send 500 on day one, start small and scale. - Rotate message templates → keep it conversational, switch up greetings + CTAs to avoid filters. - Segment your list → target the right sellers so you get fewer opt-outs and more quality replies. - Track responses → use a simple CRM or spreadsheet so no leads slip through. Keep it consistent and you’ll start seeing replies.
@Carter Freedland Usually A2P approval can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on how complete your application is (brand info, EIN, website, privacy/terms pages, and clear opt-in/opt-out process). Some people get approved in 2–3 days if everything is in order, but if details are missing or need clarification, it could take longer. If you need help in getting approved, you can reach out
