7-day Loving-kindness Challenge!
Join us as we intentionally cultivate loving kindness in our life!! ❤️❤️❤️ Over the next week notice your thoughts, words, and actions, and intentionally bring love and kindness into everything you do. Each day you can report back here with your experience, growth, and any struggles that may arise. Living a life of loving kindness is the only way to live in inner peace and pure consciousness. If you are not showing love and kindness to yourself and all beings, naturally, you will be disturbed in your mind and body. Therefore, intentionally be as loving and as kind as you can to yourself and watch how your life transforms! How has loving-kindness impacted your life?

@Zach Sanders I'm glad that someone said something about how raising kids is stressful cuz with me being a single mom and I have to show kindness to myself an the kids. I get upset sometimes when they won't mind or listen to me and I feel like I'm being double team because it's four them and one of me so I get where you're coming from.

I have a story yesterday I was doing laundry and this man who has one leg on crutches helped me get my laundry out of my truck and I didn't know what to say I was blown away because I think I might have been judging; yeah I was and I had to rethink any man who is willing to help a woman with herv laundry and he only has one leg is amazing he showed me humankindness and then I showed him kindness by not reacting ugly or rude or denying his help. It was perfect. I say that because I used to take care of people who lost a body part. And for him to continue on in life it's amazing.
Meditation Monday
If you can’t meditate, there is nothing wrong with you. You’re just not following the recipe correctly. Step 1: body awareness - you gotta get back into your body in order to calm down enough so you can meditate. Practice scanning through each part of your body and feel your awareness going into it. This allows the body to naturally relax unconscious restlessness and tension. Step 2: breathe soft and slow - if you can breathe very gently (without making any sound) and breathe deep down into your belly then the nervous system will become very, very calm. If your nervous system is disturbed then meditation can be extremely challenging. Step 3: withdraw from thoughts - usually we are identified with the mental processes happening, so we must learn to witness them without getting attached to them. You must practice witnessing your various mental states so that you can learn that you are the witness of them. This allows you to come back into inner silence and pure presence. Without this, you will simply just try to meditate with your thoughts (that’s not meditation). Step 4: meditation - simply keep your attention on one object so that you can practice being fully present right now. Follow these steps each time and you will have no problem getting into a deep meditation. Do you follow these steps?

@Anthony Kirtos Thank you. Just knowing I'm not the only one that has struggled this way is a plus. Been on my path for 2 years now. And I always wonder why is it taking so long. Maybe for me I have to learn how to wait.

Sacral Chakra (Recording of Free Class)
https://fathom.video/share/xCzVrz6zyety5wYYBvSzFKL3qravoWjf Meeting Purpose To understand and balance the Sacral Chakra through yogic practice. Key Takeaways - The Sacral Chakra governs sensation, driving the cycle of attachment to pleasure and resistance to pain, which creates suffering. - The core imbalance is seeking contentment externally, forgetting that consciousness is inherently content. True joy (euphoria) arises from this inner contentment. - Imbalances manifest as overactivity (hedonism, addiction) or blockage (depression, anhedonia). Extreme blockage requires professional help. - The 4-step yogic practice (Body Awareness → Slow Breathing → Detachment → Concentration) re-establishes inner contentment by breaking the cycle of external seeking. Topics Chakra System Overview - The chakra system is a framework for understanding bioelectric energy centers that influence personality and experience. - The Agna Chakra (third eye) is the "command center" of consciousness, the observer of sensory input. - Root Chakra (Muladhara): Governs security (money, health).Overactive: Future-oriented worry about money.Blocked: Paranoia, fear of physical threat (often from past trauma).Balanced: Present-moment expertise and abundance. The Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) - The "Pleasure Center" governing all sensory experience (pleasure, pain). - This center drives the fundamental life cycle:Pleasure → Attachment: Seeking external sources for happiness.Pain → Resistance: Avoiding discomfort. - The Core Imbalance: Forgetting that consciousness is inherently content. This leads to seeking happiness from temporary external sources (people, places, things), which inevitably causes suffering. - The Goal: Cultivate equanimity by realizing inner contentment, allowing participation in life's pleasures and pains without attachment. Sacral Chakra Imbalances - Overactive Energy:Behavior: Hedonism, obsession with pleasure.Manifestations: Addiction, debt from excessive spending on pleasure, obsession with physical appeal. - Blocked Energy:Behavior: Sees life as struggle, inability to feel joy.Manifestations: Depression, anhedonia.Warning: Extreme blockage (e.g., suicidal thoughts) requires professional mental health intervention.

I'm learning so much. All the research that I've done is right Zach's, making him much more clear.
Meditation Monday
If you can’t meditate, your body and environment might be unclean. Cleanliness creates balance, cheerfulness, concentration, non-craving, and fitness to become aware of Consciousness. When toxins and impurities are present in the body the nervous system, emotions, and mind become agitated or dull. This makes it very challenging to settle into the clarity and presence of meditation. How to tell if your body is unclean: - You feel restless or sluggish - You don’t feel cheerful - You have intense cravings - Your mind is scattered or dull - You are unaware of Consciousness How clean is your lifestyle?

@Heidi Edelman it's nice to meet you Heidi another single mother I have four children a teenage son and then four daughters. I've decided to try in the morning before I take the kids to school I'm already up at 3:30. Well I can fit in a 5-minute meditation before I start getting ready so I tried that this morning.

@Jasna B I feel the same way my mind is always thinking and I'm always overthinking it feels like I have so many tabs like on a computer open in my mind and I have to go in and close them all. I did a few minutes this morning and it was helpful.
