@Elisha Medjo omg ouch!!! 😭 how do these freak accidents happen? I remember I was doing middle work once and I had this spidey sense moment, looked back and saw a kid barreling at me in a squat position. Like they went diagonally across the rink. All I remember is going straight face like Jim Halpert before my legs were knocked from under me and I hit the floor.

@Ty M after I upgraded my boot which came with the falcon plate I was taking classes with an artistic skater and he let me know changing them out might help with my turns so I did some googling but ended up at a local skate shop and they helped me pick softer ones. The rink would be able to help me as well. It’s worth noting I didn’t change my cushions on stock nylon plates and I’m not sure if those can be changed.

Looks good to me! Softer wheels like the radar energy do grip the floor more so that could be a reason you feel slowed down. Another thing to consider is how tight are your wheels? If my wheels don’t spin like the wheel on price is right I loosen the nut but not to the point where the wheel is shifting back and forth on the axle.
