Desperately Seeking Lessons
Hello all! I have tried desperately to get lessons here in Houston but to no avail I have yet to cross paths with any instructors. I prefer and need in person lessons along with the online. It would be greatly appreciated if someone would share any info on an instructor here. Also, Mr. Allen, will you be hosting any in person lessons? Since I missed you when you were here, I will happily travel to where you are for that. Thanks in advance.

@Isabel Athina Mitzen I agree about the virtual lessons. It can be just as useful as long as you have a space to do it. The lab is a group of instructors located there. Rishod, J, Coco and there are some others teaching in Houston as well. Try going to some of the adult nights and just ask the DJ. They know who the teachers are.

St Louis style skating
So I have officially fallen in love with STL style skating but I live like 800 miles away from there 😂 I am on a mission to go spend a week there this year but the thing is, I only see one day for lessons at Skate King and I doubt that’s going to cut it for me. I also will not interrupt anyone's session to ask for help (before anyone recommends that lol). So, anyone know who can give me private lessons in the Lou???

SKATE PARTY EVENT SCHEDULES?
Can anyone tell me How am I able to see a schedule of skate party events that happens in ATL & CHI? Just any upcoming skate events during the year that are worth attending. Appreciate it!

usually skategroove.com has a pretty good calendar of sk8 events but they're not as up-to-date as they used to be or consistent with the flyers and details etc. that's the only one i know of other than following the pages directly on instagram usually. honestly i'm getting ready to just add my own sk8 events calendar on my website because it seems like it's really lacking.
