I’ve thought of skating like learning to play spades. If you didn’t learn before 17, it’s too late for you. But at 41, I’ve bought a pair of skates and PPE, so let me see how much I can learn without breaking anything important

Good morning skate family. Any tips on how to stay on rythym and beat at the same time?

I have a NTS plate but sometimes I get a little jealous of people who have jam plugs. I feel like people use them to stabilize when learning spins or other possible moves. Please weigh in on this! I want everyone opinion!

My knee jerk reaction to my little cousin asking to wear my skates after asking her mom could she ask me was NO‼️. Not because I thought she’d damage them but because I knew they were a set up with soft cushions and a jam plug and soft wheels. We were at a family picnic. She saw them and was curious. I was so happy to see her having fun. She had NO PROTECTIVE GEAR on. The fall resulted in surgery to insert a pin and plate🙁
