Crackers, Chips Deception
Just because it says whole grain doesn’t mean it’s holy. Fact: Whole wheat crackers often contain refined flour and seed oils. Action: Replace one processed snack with raw nuts or fruit 🍎 today. Comment below what you replaced and what with?

I'm fasting at the moment so just lots of water and electrolytes for me today!

I am on a 96 hour fast at the moment. Love doing these as it resets your whole system. Just make sure you keep the electrolytes and water intake up. I am now at the lowest weight I have been for almost 10 years. At 70 it's all too easy to just let things slide. Benefits are clarity of thinking, better sleep and huge amount of energy and some dropping of lbs.

Hi I am Sue Booth I live in the UK 🇬🇧 and have been in the health and wellness field for almost 40 years 1. After a heart attack and 3 stents in 2017 I really reviewed what I was doing healthwise. I made simple changes and added 4 key things into my regimen and within 4 months was off all medication 💊 5 years on I am still medication free, thriving and healthy. 2. Biggest challenge was despite a great fresh diet I wasn't absorbing this into my cells. I have always supplemented for over 38 years but wasn't aware that my supplements weren't being absorbed. All good now! 3. Oysters (Allergy to them) Found out the hard way 🤢🤮

I would have to remove crackers to have with cheese. Our cheeses in UK are awesome and I do love a cracker with it. Going to try making crackers with Almond flour and seasoning. Will let you know how that goes! The other thing I would remove is peanut butter as most of them contain palm oils which are detrimental to health. There is Almond butter available but again I will try to make my own peanut butter as I know it would be healthier than shop bought. We have never been a fan of cereals in our house so I think that would be the normal one that most people would choose to ditch! It's the children's go to and it's full of cr#p sugar and chocolate and other flavours and colours to get them hooked on it. It's like legalised drugs for kids.
The Expiration Date Test
If it can survive a zombie apocalypse, should it be in your body? Fact: The longer the shelf life, the shorter yours might be. Today your Action Step is to….Toss anything with ingredients you can’t pronounce. What are your two items? Place them in the comments

I check everything that comes prepackaged in most cases its processed in a number of ways. My rule of thumb is to buy from farmers market where I can choose my produce based on what I am planning to cook for the next couple of days. Being organised is key to winning! I usually plan our meals for 3 days in advance and shop 2 x a week. That doesn't always work out but mostly. If it comes in box or plastic container it doesn't reach my shopping basket. (Only caveat to that is dried goods oats, dried beans etc.)
