Live in the Present not the Past
First few days of 2026 in the books! Taking a moment to thank God for the growth and understanding gained from everything the past year threw my way. It feels good to start fresh. How’s everyone else’s headspace so far?

I agree I'm thankful for a fresh start God is truly good and no matter how bad things get remember he instilled in us the power to change our situations. Growth has to start from somewhere might as well start today

I agree that just because you re a "thinker" does mean you are thinking bout the right things. You could just be thinking about food all the time. But real thought is maximizing your brain's potential to problem solve and hypothesize. If you want to move forward put a plan to your vision and continue to work hard at manifesting that vision

I like this quote because I think most of my life's hardships and struggles have shaped my strong character traits. Like the way I became so resilient and how I know that I and full of resilience is because I that I have went through in life. My struggles in life have made me a better person and equipped me to know how to deal with new struggles that make arise in the future

@Christian Jordan I try to rest and reset for the next week on the weekends. Some weekends are like working a second job for because I have errands, kids activities, and church activities that make take up sone much time and energy in just a short weekend
Misunderstanding Remembering
The brain has a fairly definitive desktop. There’s only room in what we neuropsychology folks call “working memory” for about 5-8 bits of information. This has deep ramifications for what’s IN your mind versus what’s ON your mind. Here are some key considerations: 1) Just because you’re not conscious of your thoughts does not mean those thoughts are not affecting you. 2) You’ll most often notice an emotion but be unaware of your thought process responsible for the emotion. 3) You’ll often connect your own behavior with another person’s in a causal relationship, believing their behavior CAUSED your behavior when, in reality, your own thought processes ALWAYS cause your own behavior. 4) Just because you’re not thinking of something (or, someone) doesn’t mean you’ve forgotten it (or, them) ☝️ Reminder: Do someone a favor and share our Mindset Masterclass in your socials and invite others to join our journey into the mysteries of the mind 🧠 Join me in 2hours for Midday☀️Mindset as we dig deeper into this topic at 12pm CST Here’s the link 🔗 https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1gqxvreZEEnxB

Nunber 3 is one I battle with a lot. I had to stop blaming others for my actions and take responsibility for my ways of thinking. I try to think positive thoughts and have a peace of mind. Because if you have a lot of negativity going on in your head it can eventually come out in your actions

Yes I was a catastrophic procrastination years ago. Now the older I get I Value time more and really want to get better at getting more time. I try to write most my task down for the day or week then I keep checking my notes whenever I feel my self slacking off
