What is accountability?
Good morning! I’ve been reflecting on one question this morning: How can I truly hold myself accountable for every decision I make? For me, the first step is simple—no more excuses. They’re just hot air taking up space where progress should be. What about you? How do you keep it real with yourself?

I agree. It helps us support each other better along the way.
Live in the Present not the Past
First few days of 2026 in the books! Taking a moment to thank God for the growth and understanding gained from everything the past year threw my way. It feels good to start fresh. How’s everyone else’s headspace so far?

@Stewart Grooms Honestly, the hardest part is just getting off the starting block to grow.

@Alamir Zaky Having Patience is key.
No thing should control me
Good morning everyone, I always begin my day by reading a verse from the Bible and reflecting on how I can apply it to my life and benefit from its teachings. For instance, the verse in the picture suggests that I can do anything, but I wonder if this power will control me or make me addicted to it. By respecting myself and my body, I can prevent anything from controlling me or creating bad habits. In my opinion, that’s how we should live. I encourage you to share your thoughts on this topic.

Goodmorning @Alamir Zaky You asked if this power might control you. Well, this verse encourages us to put our trust in the Lord so that when temptation arrives, it's easier to overcome. It starts with having faith that He will always provide a way out—and He does, every single time.
Food for thought...
I know it's been a few days since I been active but the holidays are over...still 100% sober and continuing to learn, live, and grow in a positive, healthy direction. I hope everyone had a peaceful holiday!

Because of my background, I used to think 'belief' only meant something spiritual. But I’ve realized it’s much broader than that. To me, a belief is simply the act of accepting something as true, even when you don't have the proof.
