7 contributions to AI Marketing Insiders
Hi everyone, great to be here
I live in Wales, in the United Kingdom, where there are supposed to be more sheep than people, although I've never tried counting them all, so I can't confirm. I have been involved in internet marketing since around 1998, starting with creating content sites and affiliate marketing. Work and life got in the way, and IM took a back seat for many years. Now I'm back and trying to get into email marketing and product creation. I'm hoping to use AI more to create products, support email marketing, and generally automate more. I mainly use ChatGPT and Claude, but have also used Gemini, Grok, and Co-Pilot. I have used Frase in the past and intended to use it to help with SEO-optimised content. I have just spent the last few days absorbing the content here and have a few more videos lined up to watch over the next few days. I found the group via @Randy Smith

@Catherine Eadie Thanks for the welcome. As for what has caught my eye, I'm going to look at creating a Custom GPT so that I can create content using my 'voice'.

@Ryan Doser Thank you for the welcome. @Randy Smith and I are in a few different communities, and I met him in person once, albeit a long time ago. There are a few things that I want to accomplish with AI. I want to use it to help create information products to sell and to help me build sales pages and emails for those products. I also want to revisit your video on creating a Custom GPT, as I want to build one that produces content in my 'voice'.
Internal Backlink Test
I have a website In Your Eyes Ezine iyezine.com online for 25 years with about 10000 posts and doing good internal link building is not easy. I have prepared an agent. With this text: You are an expert SEO strategist specializing in content optimization for websites. I want you to develop a comprehensive internal linking strategy for my website. Here are the details you need to consider: 2. Primary Goals: increase user engagement, 3. Current Content Structure: you find all post in tutti-i-link.txt and all post titles and text in a.txt 5. Technical Constraints: wordpress Based on this information, please provide: - A detailed internal linking strategy tailored to the website, including best practices and rationale. - Recommendations for anchor text usage, link placement, and link frequency. - Suggestions for identifying and fixing orphaned or underlinked pages. - A sample internal linking map or framework for the website. - Any relevant tools or methods for monitoring and maintaining the internal linking structure over time. Ensure your response is clear, actionable, and suitable for implementation by a content or SEO team. attached files: tutti-i-link.txt all pages of the site testi.txt all the URLs, titles and posts of the site keyword_all.xlsx keyword positioning category-list.txt category pages I have also included various Google documents on internal link building as attached files. he started advising me on creating mini post hubs. Updated 20 posts by cluster. In each I inserted 1 "Read also" block (3 links) and 2 text links in the body of the text. Total new links: ~100–120 internal links. the viability of the site after 30 40 days increased by 25%. Anyone who has ideas for implementations or anything else has their say. I'm new to this world so... I'm just at the beginning.

Has anyone used Link Whisperer (I think that's what it is called) for the internal linking of Wordpress sites?

@Ryan Doser thanks. After I typed this I read another more recent post of yours on the subject.
Useful Email Automation I'm Using
Hey guys! This is one of my favorite email automations that I'm using right now and wanted to share. I'm using Kit (ConvertKit) but this same concept should apply across various CRMs. We all know how painful it is to scrub cold subscribers from email lists... But this simple automation will automatically unsubscribe those who haven't opened an email in the past 100 days. If someone on my list isn't engaged for 100 days I would rather have them removed vs pay for them. And those who have opened an email in the past 100 days will receive an "Active Sub" tag to help segment down the road. This has saved me a lot of time, money, and headaches. Hope this helps!

How does the automation know if I've opened an email? I read my emails in the Outlook preview pane, is this the same as actually opening them? I ask because I have had a few people email me saying that I haven't been opening their emails, when I know I've read everything they've sent me.

I started IM in the late 1990's with content websites & affiliate offers, then sold physical goods via eBay & Amazon, now I've gone full circle again.
