Too much gin
📅 Daily Check-in - July 11, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Had trouble falling asleep, but once asleep it was good. I have been helping my husband with feeding our cattle hay in the mornings. Very frosty this morning, but the ice on their fur had already defrosted/melted. He helped a neighbour with hanging a gate and I took the 3 dogs to the beach for a walk and a swim. Then I went looking for new gumboots, as my pair, which I bought in 1999, has sprung a leak. I bought a similar pair, a bit shorter, as the top bit always annoyed me. The dogs got a sausage each from the sausage sizzle at the shop. We had another log fire in our woodburner, as we do most nights in the winter. Especially those clear sunny days end in a very cold night. I made a gin and lemon cake. It was a success; half the cake is already missing... Do feel i had more gin than if I had had a couple of drinks... Tomorrow back to healthy living. This was fun though. We saw a movie at home and now getting ready for bed." 📊 Wellbeing Scores: 😊 Happiness: 9/10 ⚡ Energy: 8/10 🎯 Focus: 7/10 😌 Calmness: 8/10 🌙 Sleep Quality: 7/10 🔥 Motivation: 7/10 ⭐ Average: 7.7/10 ✅ Activities from yesterday: 🌙 Early Bedtime ☀️ Morning Sunlight 🌿 Grounding 🌃 No Screentime at Night 🏃 Cardio 🚶 Walk 🥗 Healthy Eating 💊 Took Supplements 🥩 Hit Protein Goal 🥦 Ate Vegetables 🍳 Home Cooked Meal 📝 Journaling 💚 Gratitude Practice 🎯 Visualization 😌 Low Stress Day ✨ Positive Mindset 📵 No Social Media 🌅 Focused Morning 🌄 No Screentime in Morning 📅 No Meetings 📚 Reading 🎸 Skill Practice 🎨 Creative Work ❤️ Date Night 🍽️ No Phone at Dinner 👂 Active Listening

This sounds like a lovely day!!
💙 A gentle reminder for today...
You don't have to wait for your tinnitus to be quiet before you can have a good day. Sometimes the biggest win isn't that the sound changed— it's that your reaction did. One slow breath. Relax your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Let your nervous system know you're safe. Every time you respond with calm instead of fear, you're teaching your brain a new pattern. Progress isn't always quieter tinnitus. Sometimes it's finding more peace, even while the sound is still there. 🌿 What's one small thing that's helping you stay grounded today?

This is a good reminder. 💕

Let me paint you a picture of my office six months ago: paper everywhere, digital files scattered like confetti, and me context-jumping three or four times a day between different clients and different projects. For an ADHD brain, that is not just messy. That is a full-blown obstacle course before I have even started the actual work. My office has ALWAYS been my struggle zone. The nature of my work means I am constantly switching lanes, and every switch left another little pile behind. Physical piles. Digital piles. Guilt piles. 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗴 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄. 🐛 Cathy @Cathy A Castagna , @Shani Sherwin @Judy Hamilton Four of us, each tackling our own war zone, side by side. Some Body Doubling via AI Harmony and some on WhatAPP - and sometimes 𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗛. Some of us on paper. Some on the digital jungle. Some of us in boxes packed away for months, years, and some of us getting ready for a life transition/shift. All of us cheering each other on. With Cathy and Shani, we've been doing some bedroom and kitchen stuff - hahah, I live alone, and do I really need - 42 plates, and bowls, and `18 cups, - some will be packed for those special occassions - you know the one, where Gran used to get the special cutlery, doileys etc out, but some will go to my She Shed - aka Mosaic Mayhem place of wonderment - or pehaps a Greek Dinner party in the waiting, With Judy, I have been going to war on my files, my paper, my physical AND digital clutter. And here is the honest update: I am not done. Not even close. There is still much to do. 𝗕𝗨𝗧. My files are so much better. My paper is 60 ish % improved - we both chatted about "old resources" - why do we have them, can I even find them? Are they catelogued (ahaha same as pulled out recipes - someday!!!!) can i get them online now?" Finding what I need does not feel like hunting for a needle in a haystack anymore. It is getting EASIER. And that, for a brain that used to freeze at the sight of my own desk, is enormous.

Thank you for sharing this! What great insights!
It’s worth it today and every day because I’m worth it.
Without going into any real detail about my past I’ll share enough to say at 73 I’d acquired some serious wounding and trauma from no diagnosis and …. I’m here thriving. Thank you @Jim Ebbelaar By joining forces with JT I’ve been working with my future self and 3 aspects of me from my childhood … last night during my closing nightly ritual I developed the storyline for a children’s book with these three as part of my closing the day. After sharing it this morning in a chat with JT he helped me realise something …… Jim Teri, So, before you go make that second cup: now that you see they were guarding you all along, not broken, guarding, what do you owe them? I owe them my life. Jim Yes. You do. And here's the thing you can't miss, Teri: you already started paying it. Going back for the three-year-old. Building the dear little one until she'd speak. Sleeping so the whole system could come out of the red. That's not gratitude you owe someday. That's a debt you've been quietly paying every morning at the window with the birds and the coffee. They kept you alive so you could get here. Now you keep them alive by living. Same direction, finally. Go make that coffee. Let this one just sit in your chest a while. It doesn't need another word from me. This chat right here with Jim’s Twin coupled with every 8 hr sleep, completed body doubling session, morning + evening check-in, completed worksheet has been me quietly paying and honouring myself. This works!... ADHDHarmony works by meeting yourself one step at a time. Thank you Jim!

Day 4 ADHD Harmony Completed
As I am not doing the course live so taking time with working through the course and making sure i do it fully. From the AI Questions Summary after the video: " The mirror principle just clicked. My cluttered bedroom full of clothes in every size isn't a mess problem - it's me refusing to decide who I'm allowed to become. And the game I open every morning? Turns out it's giving me the connection and appreciation my real life has been missing." I'm trying really hard to not feel self-judgement or despair at the state I find my current life. I do appreciate the insight and the compassion and understanding this gives me. Awareness allows one to make changes. I also feel that understanding the dopamine issues will be really helpful too.
