Post all your Breath Hold Times here! Let's go & double your breath hold! ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it ๐Ÿ˜Ž) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit. Do exhale breath holds only for a week, or take it easy and do 1-2 breath holds a day without going for a max. Variety is the spice of life.

Post all your Breath Hold Times here! Let's go & double your breath hold! ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Here's what you missed from last week (plus a few shout outs!) @Sabine Marcus tripled her breath hold in just 7 days (yup - it is not an exaggeration like most things on the internet - it is actually possible!) @Fredrik Nicander broke the 3 minute mark after just a few weeks (consistency pays off!) @Coen Balduk discovered that you can get longer breath holds, without necessarily going the hyperventilation route (thanks for trusting us and giving it a go!) A thank you to @Tina Mosner for being vulnerable and overcoming the bad vibes when the times are not so good. The line will not always go up, but you can make a comeback. Speaking of comebacks, long time breath hold veteran @Abdou Aziz poked his head in for an update on his breath hold journey (plus, I swear I saw a @Curro Cachinero sighting the other week as well) Shout out to @Jessica Fitzpatrick's dad, for gifting her Dan Brule's book Just Breathe ๐Ÿ˜Ž And let's support @Carmen Gruet in her attempt to go for 2 minutes this coming week. *** Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it ๐Ÿ˜Ž) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit. @Coen Balduk and maybe sharing it too! I've been finding it interesting to explore in-holds (Breathology) and out-holds (qi gong Xi Breathing), and currently they are almost neck and neck.

Sorry for late reply to a question you asked last week.... I've been practicing a qi gong style of out-breath called Xi Breathing for a few years, guided by Master Robert Peng (and before that Buteyko breathing and a little Wim Hoff) so I guess my physiology is used to a certain level of CO2 and that's where I stop. I'm not forcing the ends of the holds as I feel I did some annoying damage with following Wim Hoff vibe and don't want to aggravate it. Enjoy your practice!
