Help with Outreach
Hey everyone, quick one – been grinding Instagram outreach lately, trying to get web design clients. I’ve been manually finding trade businesses (plumbers, electricians, landscapers, etc.), checking they have bad sites, and then sending them a short DM asking if they want me to break down how to fix it.But most of them are just leaving me on seen or not opening it at all. Not sure if: 1. My permission video/script isn’t strong enough 2. I’m just not following up well enough 3. Or maybe I’m not targeting the right people? Anyone dealt with this or got feedback? I’m tryna figure out if it’s a volume thing or a messaging thing before I adjust strategy.”

Here's a script that landed my 3rd client: "Hello [name], I noticed a few areas where your website could convert more visitors into leads. Would you be interested in a complete re-design for $0.00? No strings attached. I would love to showcase what I can do and would just ask for honest feedback or a short testimonial in return." after they saw this & ignored it I proceeded to send them a quick hero re-design that changed their mind. Your customers only care about how you can benefit them. Be more specific about the benefits. Whether that be more conversions, brand credibility, etc.

🧐 Top 3 Learnings From 2025 so Far?
As its already middle of July and we've only got half the year left.. What have been the top 3 things you've learned this year so far? - And how have they affected your life / How will they effect your life? They can be a small tweak you've made to your daily habits, or larger lessons and tactics you've implemented into your business!

1. Marketing Is everything 2. "Impatience with action, patience with results" - Naval Ravikant 3. Give 100% every single time
A small but VERY important win(MAJOR change).
I was able to get a client's website finished and done EVEN if it wasn't to MY expectations when presented(they didnt even care about the coding details abd technobabble). I'm taking a much needed rest from all the coming and going but FINALLY I have a good start. The client gave me their testimonial but wanted me to keep their names confidential which is fair. I used a combination of Nicepage and HTML Embeds. The client wishes not to disclose the contact page. But THIS....just this... Yeah "slow is smooth , smooth is faster" means for me to KEEP LISTENING to what your client wants and improve what works.
A small but VERY important win(MAJOR change).

That's really clean man
Testimonials build trust faster than portfolio
I think that a single genuine message from a past client can say more than 10 slides of case studies. And will bring more clients to you (i'm not saying that portfolio is not good but if there is real testimonials and results it will be mush better and can convert more leads even when you work for free for 3 clients because the most important is getting honest testimonials from real clients)
