Let’s Trade Ideas and Inspiration!!
Since this community was built by David as a place to slow down, I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we trade ideas and inspiration. Share your favorite ways to relax and unwind! I would love for everyone to jump in and add their own rituals, hobbies, and little joys. In my home, I find it very important to have a relaxing atmosphere. I love to play classical music. It just makes everything feel so peaceful! Every morning I open up the window shades to let all of the sunlight into our home and create a bright and uplifting atmosphere. I love to add to the relaxing atmosphere by blending essential oils fragrance and diffusing them throughout the house. Pink grapefruit, red mandarin, and pink lotus are my most uplifting favorites. The whole place ends up smelling like a luxury hotel, and it genuinely boosts my mood ✨🥰✨ If you also enjoy scent mixing, or even candles, please share what you love! Another ritual I treasure is making jewelry. Creating sparkly, beautiful pieces with my hands feels deeply satisfying and life affirming. If you create art, crafts, or anything tactile, I would love to hear about it!! What’s your favorite art material?? There is something powerful about making beauty and calm in the middle of a hectic life ✨💯✨ Please add yours. Do you relax by cooking, painting, listening to music, gardening, moving your body, or just sitting quietly? Jump in and share.

🚦 Red Light Green Light! A Reminder to Slow Down.
Every one remember this game? I sure do. Here's a reminder to slow down during your day. It's easy to get caught up in the speed of things, in the crank, and we must remember to slow down. SO, let's all take a few minutes to slow down: 1. Drop a worry below and let it go + something you're thankful for 2. Take 60 seconds to be thankful for everything around you, reframe your perspective 3. Then close your computer / phone & deep breathe for 2-5 minutes, I promise you'll feel better I attached a really good deep breathing exercise that always helps clear my head.

What Are You Procrastinating On Right Now?
What are you procrastinating on right now with your Skool? ⏰ The thing you know you should do but keep avoiding. Drop it below. Maybe we'll hold you accountable, maybe we can just simply relate. 👇

🛝 WE Did This! Top #2 In Less Than 10 Days + My Promise To You:
We officially opened up the Recess doors 9 days ago, and what a time it has been so far. Getting to know all of you on a deeper level, venting together, celebrating our wins, and honestly, just simply being reminded of our childhood / younger years. This is what I desired this place to be, but very quickly it's become more than that. A place where we can encourage and sharpen each other too. 📝 Here's what I've learned in 9 days: We're not just building Skools. We are pouring our hearts into missions we believe in, sometimes alone, often doubting ourselves, and often wondering if it's worth it. Well I'm here to tell you, it is. And we're not alone anymore. Let's continue growing together. 🧡 Here's my promise to you: this space will forever remain about YOU all. Not my wins. Not my growth. Yours. And I will continue to share everything I learn: the strategies, the mistakes, the shortcuts, the hard truths. I will continue to spotlight your communities and make sure you get seen. And I will fiercely continue to protect this special place we're building together. Because it matters. I truly believe Skool is early. Which means WE are early. And as Recess grows, your communities will grow with it. Our strategies will sharpen. Our connections will deepen. Our wins will multiply. And the way we love and connect will grow. Because I strongly believe; and we truly can never forget this fact: That the community is more important than the classroom. The best is yet to come. 🛝 Drop a GIF below showing how you're feeling about Recess right now. 🎉Let's celebrate what we've built in just 9 days and to what the future has in store.

🗣️ Recess! How Did You Decide on Your Skool Community Name?
I see so many creative community names on Skool. Some are obvious. Some make zero sense until you join. Some are clever. Some straightforward, and I'm always curious about the story behind them. Here's what I want to know: 1. What's your community name & how did you come up with it? 2. Did you overthink it for weeks, or did you just pick something and go? 3. What does it mean? (if there's a meaning) If you see anyone with a similar name, story, or that took as long as you to pick their name. Comment and let them know! Let's all get to know each other even more and the stories behind our missions. Drop your name + the story behind it!👇
