[Roast the copy]-->Update: Campaign ended, thanks for all input
This is a web developer doing a cold email campaign to plumbers--tear it up! Can you write better copy for this? ----------------------------------------TWO VERSIONS ---------------------------------------- VERSION 1 ---------------------------------------- Hi Johnny, Your website visitors aren't calling you. They're visiting, looking around, then leaving to call your competitor instead. Last month, I fixed this exact problem for another plumber and added $5,564 to their bottom line. Same issues you're dealing with. I'll analyze your site for free and show you the specific problems that are costing you 3-5 jobs monthly. If my fixes don't pay for themselves in 60 days, you don't pay. Ready to turn your website into your best sales rep? James CEO [[Company]] VERSION 2 ---------------------------------------- Hello Johnny, What are you going to do with the new booked appointments for [[Brand x]] Plumbing and how are you going to keep up? That's what you'll be asking yourself after you use our services to turn your website into your best sales person, working for you 24/7, every day of the year. To show you how, I'm offering a complimentary detailed analysis of your site (with actionable fixes). I work with another plumber similar to you and we just added $5,564 last month to their bottom line. The way you are set up, I feel you are leaving at least 3-5 jobs per month of new business on the table. I guarantee our services will pay for themselves in new business within the first 60 days or you don't pay. Let's talk Sincerely, James W. CEO [[Company]]

@Shane Hagan can you expand on each point here?
When to stop the campaign?
Hi Everyone, When do you decide that the campaign is flopped and needs to be stopped ? Assuming, not getting the bare minimum response needed...like 1.5% Wait for a week at least or first mails to 1000 leads or any other benchmarking before you start tweaking or moving to the next campaign ? @Grant Charge , @Roger Roland , @Max Khalus , any inputs would be helpful. When to stop the campaign?

I just had a campaign of 1600 get nothing. Then I did a follow up message and it hit. 🤷‍♂️ The bare truth of all this is the following: - You have to have your tech and your stack right. If your DNS is fubar, or your list is not clean, nothing you do will work. Your accounts need to be healthy and your lists need to be as clean as possible. These are non negotiable. These can affect your results in invisible ways if you let them go ignored. - Next, try all the norms that are working these days. Here are the 2025 "norms" so try these first: https://www.linkedin.com/smart-links/AQG5SOqTY4eSJQ/5601a1e4-4e75-4e7d-aac8-dc2c7ec67fc6 - Once you know you are doing all the norms correctly and are still not getting results, then you can start to experiment. - Every campaign is genuinely unique to itself, so nobody has seen this campaign before which is to say, nobody knows what will work. I really mean nobody. It's unpredictable what will really work in any given single campaign. There are statistical outcomes that can bias your decisions (but that doesn't mean they are right for that campaign). I see the gurus are really just "guessing better" based on their experience and based on what they've seen work before. But, again, this doesn't mean their advice is correct for any single given campaign. - You have levers you can pull and pull hard. The offer, the lead magnet, the copy (length, tone, etc.). Pull hard on these levers to learn what will work an not work in a campaign. Even break the rules (like putting in links to something valuable). Weird things have worked great for many campaigns. See this story: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/nick-abraham_a-client-came-to-us-willing-to-pay-a-large-activity-7373695503353458688-GmC0?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAAG7ZhYB-M-sQiETWmwz4EZJPP0g_WNewSo

Cold Caller Copy Conundrum
I have a list of companies advertising for cold callers. I want to contact them with a cold email campaign offering to do a cold email campaign 😉 instead of manual prospecting (cold calling). How should I set up the copy to get their attention, interest, curiosity while not having them think "cold email, I don't do that, I do cold calling--not for me"? Do I just offer cold OUTREACH without being too specific? @Ian Kirk @Grant Charge @Max Khalus

@Max Khalus Good strategy to have in my hip pocket on the initial call. Thanks!

@Ian Kirk actually I'm going with positioning it as complementary, not competitive. Many of these contacts are already financially and emotionally invested in SDRs, to telling them they are wrong or that this is smarter is probably not the right approach. We'll see how it goes.
Instantly question
If you have a new client, is it best to create a new workspace on your system for them? Or have them buy a whole new subscription just for them and you have total access? Is the answer to the above the same or different in each of these situations?: - we manage the unibox / replies until the lead is ready to buy - they have a team/SDR who will manage the UniBox from the beginning

Still working through it. I think I will go with separate workspaces as I can share benefits across them. It seems Instantly might be making features that encourage this approach

@Grzegorz S Access to lead database (400M contacts) comes with basic mailbox purchase and no other cost or subscription?
