Day 18: Building your support network
Thought: A strong network of support enhances emotional resilience. Community works better the more you take control back from your emotions. Action Step: Identify and reach out to at least two people who support your recovery. Set a time to meet or talk with them and share your hurts and difficulties. Join seanreddaway.com for online community support. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." Galatians 6:2 "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ."

i have a small but skilled set of people i can reach out to discuss check in with and run ideas passed. These people i also class as close friends and won’t mince their words or advice they won’t tell me what i think i want to here they will speak from the heart and it’s not always what i want to hear but the reality is it’s exactly what i want to hear.

Consider again your distractions and the things that are battling for your attention and be intentional at focussing on the activity to push those distractions away. Consider how you can fine tune the activity for improvement. Being intentionally mindful to improve simple activities is good practice that creates a habit of improvement that will positively impact more complicated or important things. Luke 16:10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…”

Trying to walk 8000 steps a day ( everyone goes for 10,000) yet difficult to sometimes meet, especially when your job is office based but achieving this daily has certainly helped with clear head space time to think clearly process more ideas and get fitter at the same time
